The Tabernacles
of his Palace

The Tabernacles of Turkey's Palace

And he

Turkey

shall plant the tabernacles of his palace

caliphate government

between the seas

Mediterranean Sea and Dead Sea

in the glorious holy mountain

Jerusalem

; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

The first question to ask, does Turkey want to move it's Government?

Yes you can see a big push for that.

All eyes are on Israel and have been for some time.
Will we see one of the three sides take over?
Or will we see all three unite?

Understanding Turkey setting up his palace in Jerusalem is very important.
Even if you don't believe this it would be good to pay attention to.
The next verse is when Michael Stands up.
This very well could be a sign that probation is about to close.

Besides Turkey taking over this land many other predictions are made.
The one I hear a lot is that Israel will rebuild their temple here.
And with that many would go back to sacrificing.
All of these lead to the battle of Armageddon.

My first problem again with this interpretation and many others is that it takes our eyes off the big global picture and places it in the middle east.

My second problem is that it takes our eyes off of Rome and places it on Turkey.
Most all of Daniel and Revelation point us to Rome, why again on the last few verses of your book would you switch focus off the main enemy?

I'm not the only one seeing these problems.

My third problem is going back to timing, in the video we have been looking at they point to the timing between Dan 11:35 and Dan 11:36 as 1798 and that we can't jump up in time, but yet once we get down to this last verse we can see them making a jump in time.

My fourth problem is that this interpretation all looks forward to one single event that if wrong could cause many to lose their faith.

My fifth problem is that if we place our understanding on literal Jerusalem in the last days this could lead to understanding like the one thousand year millennium here on earth.

Were all the prophets of the Bible talking about a literal Jerusalem?
Should I take my eyes off the heavenly New Jerusalem and look at the literal one?
What hope would I have in being part of literal Jerusalem?
I don't put much hope in this world, I'm looking for a better place.

In closing with this study on Turkey the main reason I get for Daniel 11 is that we can know where in time we are at and that we have an event just before Michael stands up and can see when probation is closing.

In the end this is a good message to have but I still think it breaks away from the rest of Daniel and that all these nations would be judged, the main one being the little horn power of Papal Rome and that we can look forward to God's kingdom or the Heavenly Jerusalem that will last forever on a new earth.

The Tabernacles of the French Palace

And he

France

shall plant the tabernacles of his palace

when Napoleon was crowned King

between the seas

Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea

in the glorious holy mountain

mountain of delight

; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Lets look at what William Miller said first.

This was literally fulfilled, in May 26, 1805, when 'Bonaparte was crowned king of Italy at Milan,-Italy lying between two seas. To "plant the tabernacle of his palace" would be to establish him as king. "Yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him."

Of course I do have a hard time with this version because I believe the glorious holy mountain is in Jerusalem.

O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins... (Daniel 9:16)

Like Turkey if France set up with his palace in Jerusalem we better take notice.
If I was stuck on France this is how I might interpret the verse.

And he

France

shall plant the tabernacles of his palace

Church of Saint Anne

between the seas

Mediterranean Sea and Dead Sea

in the glorious holy mountain

Jerusalem

; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

The question then is, does France have any connection to Jerusalem?
We can see in history that Europe made it's way there before during the crusades.

Sometime during the time of the crusades France did take ownership of a palace.

Who is Saint Anne you ask?

This is on a very small scale but even now France has it's place in Jerusalem.
And there has been contention for the site their.

Maybe France has other connections there too, I just found this one interesting.

I think it is better to look at the different sides and see how things are shaping up.
I don't see France being a big part of the final scenes before Michael Stands up.
But through this study though I see more clearly how important France might be.
You can even trace the start of the Jesuits back to France.
Maybe there is a lot more going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.
Maybe many of the reformers were right to point the finger at them.
And maybe they will play a big part in end time events.

The Tabernacles of the Russian Palace

And he

Russia

shall plant the tabernacles of his palace

World Government

between the seas

people

in the glorious holy mountain

Spiritual Jerusalem

; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

There may be some variations on this verse but the root of the belief goes back to Gog & Magog in Ezekiel which will be the last group of nations that come against God and his people.

Yes there those who say the Jews are literal and others who say spiritual.
The literal side makes me think more of a war between East and West philosophy.
As seen here.

And yes there is that kind of war.
But I don't think it's about East vs West philosophy.
Nor do I think this is a war on literal Jews which is another big teaching.

I do believe much like the Jehovah Witness that this a war on God's people.

Not that I think they are the group.
Nor do I think SDA is the only group.
God will be the judge of who the last day people are.
I believe it starts by not getting the Mark Of The Beast.
And receiving the Seal of God.

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. (Rev 14:1)

And it has to do with worship.

Worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. (Rev 14:6)

Of course it is about Jesus but it is also about keeping God's commandments.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Rev 14:12)

That is why SDA believe it has to do with the Sabbath, that is what verse six points to, and verse twelve reaffirms it has to do with God's commandments.

Whether the 144,000 is literal or not is for another lesson.

The Tabernacles of the Papacy's Palace

And he

Papacy

shall plant the tabernacles of his palace

Third Temple

between the seas

Mediterranean Sea and Dead Sea

in the glorious holy mountain

literal Jerusalem

; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

When I say the Papacy here I'm not just saying them.
I'm also talking about the false prophet.
Who of course both of these are being led by the Dragon.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. (Rev 13:2)

But yes Satan is working more directly through the Papacy and deceiving many Christians into their fold.

Yes we already looked at this video before in verse forty-one.
We were looking at where it said "He shall enter also into the glorious land".
At that time I played a shorter version, this is the full length one.

This I believe is a big deception on God's people.
Believing God still has a literal nation of people he is going save.

I'm sorry the gospel is not about Israel the literal Nation.
It is about spiritual Israel or the people that accept Christ as the Messiah to bring us to God.

All this talk about rebuilding the temple is not from God.
If it happens it's coming from Satan to get Christians to unite.
Will that fulfill this verse if it happens?
I ask myself that question, because I can't say for sure.
I lean towards no, because I expect a spiritual application.
If it happens we should take notice of this verse and watch for other signs.

I often wonder if Satan ever causes things to happen based on our misunderstanding.

That way while many are looking at a fulfilled misunderstanding, they fail to see the real interpretation happening right before their eyes.

There is a temple though where God does want to dwell in.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. (John 4:21)

Where God wants to dwell is not in a building in Jerusalem.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
(1 Cor 3:16-17)

I know I got away from the verse and the literal temple.
But I much rather look at where God dwells than where God does not.
Thank God that he dwells with us instead of us going to a building somewhere.

The Tabernacles of the Papacy's Palace

And he

Papacy

shall plant the tabernacles of his palace

Spiritual Babylon

between the seas

The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

in

or and

the glorious holy mountain

Spiritual Jerusalem

; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Many are still looking to literal Jerusalem for the sign of the close of probation.
If that is the case then why did Ellen White write this?

As the siege of Jerusalem by the Roman armies was the signal for flight to the Judean Christians, so the assumption of power on the part of our nation in the decree enforcing the papal sabbath will be a warning to us. It will then be time to leave the large cities, preparatory to leaving the smaller ones for retired homes in secluded places among the mountains. (Testimonies vol 5, 464-465)

What good will it do to take the land of literal Israel?
Is this not a spiritual war?
Doesn't the Devil care about our souls more than he does a mountain in Israel?
The Sunday Law is what will be the test before Michael stands up.
Having control over that mountain may or may not happen.
But Michael is not going to stand up because he lost a spot of land over there.
He is going to stand up because of our choice on who we are going to serve.

We have no time to lose. Troublous times are before us. The world is stirred with the spirit of war. Soon the scenes of trouble spoken of in the prophecies will take place. The prophecy in the eleventh of Daniel has nearly reached its complete fulfilment. Much of the history that has taken place in fulfilment of this prophecy will be repeated. In the thirtieth verse a power is spoken of that "shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. {Lt103-1904.17} "And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. {Lt103-1904.18} "And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done." [Verses 30-36.] {Lt103-1904.19} Scenes similar to those described in these words will take place. We see evidence that Satan is fast obtaining the control of human minds, who have not the fear of God before them. Let all read and understand the prophecies of this book, for we are now entering upon the time of trouble spoken of: {Lt103-1904.20} "At that time shall Michael stand up, the great Prince that standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." (Daniel 12:1-4)

Satan is doing all that he can to plant the tabernacles of his palace between us and God.

In this world he has set up a kingdom of darkness, of which he, the leader in guilt, is prince. He desired to usurp the throne of God. Failing in this, he has worked in darkness, in crookedness, in deception, to usurp his place in the hearts of men. He has set up his throne between God and man to appropriate the adoration that belongs to God alone. {Ms31-1889.}

The wine of Babylon is what his tabernacles are based on.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (1 Tim 4:1)

Cut out this exclusiveness wherever it may be. The light God has given is for the world. It is not to be put under a bushel or under a bed. The devil is far from being narrow and proscribed in his work. This is plainly revealed by the rapidly increasing darkness, the multitudinous errors, heresies, misconceptions, and delusions of these last days. Creeds and false doctrines are popular and all pervading, to leave the minds of the world with the drinking of the wine of Babylon, the most deadly heresy. The neglect of plainest warnings will place us on the guilty list. Yes, we have plenty of evidence of Satan's might. We have evidence also that the day of work is nearly ended. Let every power that God has entrusted to His agencies be now employed. Restrict no one's labor, in any line if they are established in the truth, but let all work who will. {19MR 381.3}

I could go on and on here.
This is what comes down to.
The last struggle before Michael stands up.
Is this about literal Jerusalem?
Or is this about spiritual Jerusalem?
