In the previous lesson the verse "He shall stretch forth his Turkey hand" meant asking for money according to what was said in the video.
Egypt did not escape meaning he had to pay the money.

Now in this verse it is said he (Ottoman Empire) shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt.

So basically this is saying the same thing.
This is the same quote we looked before.
I think this quote means before 1840.

In context of the video I think were still talking about tribute before 1840.
From 1798 to 1840 Egypt becomes more powerful.

In 1840 the the Great Powers of United Kingdom, Austria, Prussia, Russia held the Convention of London.

On 29 June 1839 Ibrahim Pasha, the son of Mehemet Ali, defeated the Ottoman army in the Battle of Nezib. This crushing defeat offered an opportunity for Mehemet Ali Pasha to potentially take control of Constantinople and essentially the entire Ottoman Empire. This is the event that some say was fulfilled by Revelation Nine and the Josiah Litch prediction about the fall of the Ottoman Empire.

To verify what early Adventist taught, I took a quote from here.

So if this tribute was after at the time of 1840 we are saying...
Daniel 11 - "He (Ottoman Empire) shall have power..."
But at the same time we are also saying...
Revelation 9 - "hour, and a day, and a month, and a year" is predicting it's fall.
Seems a bit of a contradiction if that is the case.

In the end I would say these verses were fulfilled.
Before 1840 makes more sense since the Ottoman's overall had much more power. After 1840 was the beginning of the end just like the prediction foretold.

I still think the language alludes to nation more powerful than what we see here.
The Ottoman Empire from 1798 forward never had much control over Egypt.
Yea they might be getting tributes but does that really mean you have power over the treasures of gold and of silver?

Back then I would either say France or Britain had more power.
Deals are still being made today on who gets profit from Egypt the most.

As far as Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps, neither were powerful at that time.
The Ethiopians were mostly in battle with themselves.
But at times they did push back.

The Libyans were still under control of the Ottoman Empire up until 1913.
France in 1912 began their takeover.

Pirating and the Slave Trading was also a problem in that area for some time.
But I could not find much of anything for the Libyans being at his steps.
Maybe "at his steps" has more to do with getting in line.
Egypt, Libya, & Ethiopians were all now wanted for European trade.
All these Nations were being forced into treaties that more benefited Europe.
Specially after the opening of the Suez Canal.

At the same time of the Italo-Turkish war the Ottoman Empire tried to take Egypt back from Britain but failed.

I think Uriah Smith's interpretation is what changed it to the Ottoman Empire.
Does France's interpretation fit better here?
France only lasts for a very short time though.

Russia Shall Have Power

If this is the interpretation, the way I see things is Russia uniting with China.
But Russia could come against the South too.
Both countries are now trying to gain more control of the Suez Canal.
As this video said "this is not a good indicator for the free world order".
I doubt there is any free about it, control over the canal is about the NWO.

I will say in a literal sense that it is amazing how important Egypt is.
If you control the Suez Canal, you almost control the world.

Which in the end I think the United Nations with the Papacy behind it will have control over the Suez Canal.

Of course I believe it's the Papacy who is behind the NWO.
They have been setting up world organizations to accomplish their agenda.
To name a few of them:
IMF, WEF, WHO, UN, WTO, World Bank, NATO, BRICS
What amazes me is that our leaders are all but bowing to them.
And it seems people could care less about handing over our freedoms to them.

I better get back to Egypt and their treasures.
I would say Egypt is even now being taken under control.
These world organizations will be their rulers now.

The Papacy looks to control us all not by a gun but by dept.

The Libyans and the Ethiopians could be those that fight. (Jer 46:9).
They could be merchants of Revelation 18. (Rev 18:3).
They could be angry with the Beast.
Either way they have fallen under the control of the Papacy.
Although they are starting to see through the Nations and Papacy's lies.

I also see these nations as examples for mans spiritual condition.
Much like the tribes of Israel that make up God's 144,000 these nations are divided into groups that oppose God.
God has his people split into twelve tribes that make up the 144,000.
The Beast has his kingdoms split into ten.

These ungodly nations show their different spiritual conditions.
They show that many will unite with the Papacy or Babylon.
They show God will have judgment for these conditions.
