Is the "Time OF The End" about 1798?

That part of his prophecy which related to the last days, Daniel was bidden to close up and seal "to the time of the end." Daniel 12:4. Not till this time could a message concerning the judgment be proclaimed, based on a fulfillment of these prophecies. {HF 221.3}

Yes I do believe that marks the beginning of the Time Of The End.
But in context of the passage this is shortly before Michael Stands up.
I think were talking about a time well past 1798.
But then again this could be a two fold application.
Local examples points us to a much great global scale of the crisis.
Isn't this what Matthew 24 is about? Mixing the Past with the Future.

The prophecy in the eleventh of Daniel has nearly reached its complete fulfilment. Much of the history that has taken place in fulfilment of this prophecy will be repeated. {13MR 394.1}

All I can say here is that the time of the end is a period of time, not a specific date or year.
France would fit, but so wound a future application fit.

"During the time of the end the activity of Satan's servants will greatly increase. The activity of God's servants is to increase proportionately. {GCB April 14, 1903, par. 27}

As the time of the end draws near, Satan's temptations will be brought to bear with greater power upon God's workers. {PK 659.2}
