Let the land have a sabbath rest every 7th year.

Lev 25:1-4 "And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD. Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard."

Penalty for Sins

Lev 26:27-28 "And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;"
Lev 26:28 "Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins."
Lev 26:32 "And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it."
Lev 26:33 "And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste."
Lev 26:34 "Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths."

49 Years

Lev 25:8 "And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

50th Year - Jubilee

Lev 25:9 "Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land."
Lev 25: 10 "And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family."

50th year the land is restored and there is a family reunion.

Lev 25:11 "A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession."

Pay attention to periods of seven

• 1. 7th Day - Ex 20:8-11
• 2. 7th Week - Deu 16:9
• 3. 7th Month - Lev 23:41 - Num 29:1
• 4. 7th Year - Lev 25:3-4
• 5. 7 Land Sabbaths = 49 years - Lev 25:8
• 6. Jubilee = 50th year - Lev 25:10-11  (This is like Pentecost Lev 23:15-16)
• 7. Counting (49 Jubilees) (50 times) we get 2450 - (49*50 = 2450)

Because Israel chose a king, the King took the land

1 Sam 8:10 "And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king."
1 Sam 8:14 "He will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants."
1 Sam 8:7 "And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them."

God's Law Broken

Giving the land to the King broke God's law as now the land would not rest.
So God would give their land to another nation so it could rest.

Lev 26:33 "I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste."
Lev 26:34 "Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths."

70 Sabbaths Broken

2 Cron 36:17 "Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand."
2 Cron 36:18 "And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon."
2 Cron 36:19 "And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof."
2 Cron 36:20 "And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:"
2 Cron 36:21 "To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years."

If the land needed to rest for 70 years that means they must of broke 70 sabbaths.
That means the land did not rest for 490 years since each sabbath was a period of seven years (Lev 25 3-4).

How long was the penalty?

Dan 9:24 "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."

70 weeks or (70 x 7 = 490)
Using the day for a year prophecy, that equals 490 years.

Math

From the time Saul became King in 1097BC until 607BC (1097-607=490) was 490 years. (The time the sabbath was broken)
607 BC was when the seventy years of captivity began under Jehoichim. (This is the 70 years the land gets to rest)
Taking 70 years from 607 (607-70=537) we get 537 BC.
It was in 537 BC the Jews were released and sent back to their own land.

A letter from Cyrus to the Jews is described by Josephus: I have given leave to as many of the Jews that dwell in my country as please to return to their own country, and to rebuild their city, and to build the temple of God at Jerusalem on the same place where it was before. Wiki

Jubilee of Jubilees

Understanding that after breaking 70 Jubilee's the land would have it's rest from 607-537 a period of 70 years.
The next question is then, when is the Jubilee of Jubilees?
Again, Counting (49 Jubilees) (50 times) we get 2450.
Starting at the same time of 607BC we would then add 2450.
2450-607=1843.
We then add one because there is no zero year and we get 1844.
So the Jubilee of Jubilees is 1844.

The prophetic Jubilee of Jubilees lands on the prophetic Day Of Atonement of 1844

Lets look at Lev 25:9-10 again.

Dark Ages

Just like the 70 years in captivity in literal Babylon the 2450 year prophecy marked being stuck in Rome throughout the Dark Ages.

The End or the Beginning?

At the time of 1843/1844 William Miller and company thought Jesus would come again and would cleanse the earth by fire.
They misunderstood the sanctuary as the earth.
This marked a beginning, not the end.

• This was not the end of Christ's ministry but the beginning of his service in the Most Holy place.
• Millerites great disappointment would turn into joy as they discovered the sanctuary message.
• Judgment is set, God is vindicated, all worlds now understand the result of sin.
• Judgment is for the saints and will be chosen for quests at the wedding feast.
• Judgment declares the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ.
• The Sabbath was better understood
