Historic Origins

First off these are only my thoughts.
I'm not saying this is inspired of God and he gave me this message.
But again I don't know how the holy spirit works so maybe some of this did come from God.
Just know that I'm not claiming that.
And if you know where the true light of God is shinning on these passages then please go there.

My take on these is fairly simple.
The winds and the horses are the same.
Once the seals are opened the investigative judgment is over.
The winds or horses are let loose.

One: There are Four Winds and there are Four Horsemen.

Rev 7:1 "And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree."

Two: Both the winds and the horses go forth in different directions.

Rev 7:1 "And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree."

Zech 6:7 "Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth."

Three: What Ellen White had to say about the winds.

Angels are holding the four winds, represented as an angry horse seeking to break loose, and rush over the face of the whole earth, bearing destruction and death in its path.... {3SM 409.1}

Four: What Zechariah calls the horses.

Zech 6:4-5 "Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth."

Five: A question asked. An answer given.

Zech 1:11-13 "And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest. Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years? And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words."

Rev 6:10-11 "And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."

To sum up the Horses, Horns, and Carpenters seen in Zech 1-2 it goes on to say:

Zech 2:6-9 "Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me."

It feels like there is a structure to Zechariah visions that is very similar to Revelation.
The rest of the book after the visions I'm not so sure but I did pick out some verses from each chapter.

Here are some slides from another page that also might help with some context.
