Whenever I hear people talk about Feasts and Lunar Sabbaths I always hear them using meanings for Hebrew Words.
So we better pay attention to some of these words as they come up.

Stop at 15 Seconds

What was just said can be found no where about the Sabbath.
Here is the actual language of the Sabbath Day.

Gen 2:2-3 "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."

Ex 20:8-11 "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."

Gen 1:14 "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

1. Does the Sun and/or Moon divide the day from the night? Yes
2. What about the Seasons? Yes
3. What about years? Yes
4. What about months? It could
5. What about weeks?
No the sun or the moon has nothing to do with our week.
But of course if you changed when the week starts each month that would change the rest.
The question is not if the Sun or Moon starts a week.
The question is, does a new moon reset the weeks each month?
And I don't remember any passage where anyone reset the weeks over based on a new month.

Stop at 1.00

Ps 104:19 "He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down."

Again moons or seasons have nothing to do with a week.
What we are looking for now is if the week resets when the next lunar month starts.

Here is where the idea of the Lunar Sabbath comes from.

Lev 23:1-3 "And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts

appointed times

of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations

assemblies

, even these are my feasts

appointed times

. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings."

If we relate the Sabbath to Feast Days then I can see why you might see a connection.
But the word Hebrew word for feast here comes from Moed which means an appointed time.
There are many appointed times outside of the Feast Days and Sabbath.
And many of those appointed times have nothing to do with the Moon.
There is no reason to group the Sabbath here into the Feast Days just cause God gives you appointed times to keep.

The structure of the Lev 23 is this.
1. Keep my appointed times. Lev 23:1-2
2. Keep my weekly Sabbath. Lev 23:3 (based on the Seventh Day)
3. Keep my other appointed times. Lev 23:4 (based on their Seasons)

So far I see the 7th Day Sabbath based of a weekly appointed time.
All the other appointed times are coming from an appointed time based off the Sun & Moon or Seasons.
The 7th Day Sabbath has said nothing about what day of the month it could fall on.

If the Sabbath falls on the same day of the month each year we should see it in connection with the feasts every year. Something we will have to take a look at.

Stop at 2.41

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Everything said here was true, the Sabbath is the 7th day of the Creator's week.
If God based his week off the moon or the month then this is where he should of told us so.
Since he did not there is no reason yet for us to believe in a Lunar Sabbath.

Stop at 4.19

The quote from the video below is not true!

Scripture says that Elohim ordained the moon to regulate the Creator's holy appointed times. All of them including the Holy Sabbath day.

Lets look at the verse again.

Ps 104:19 "He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down."

Here is the Interlinear version.
On the right side of that page is says 233 Occurrences.
Do I need to tell you not all of those 233 Occurrences are based on the moon.

Gen 18:14, Jer 8:7, Ex 9:5-6, Josh 8:14, Jg 20:38, 1 Sam 13:8

Do I need to go on?
Moed means an appointed time and is not based off the moon unless specified.
Ps 104:19 has nothing to do with the 7th Day Sabbath.

Have the Jews ever forgotten the Sabbaths?

Lam 2:6 "The LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion.

This makes me think the Jews stopped keeping the sabbath much like the Christians today.
But to say they totally forgot what day the Sabbath is on is another thing completely.
I do agree, that at the time of Jesus we can be certain of when the Sabbath was kept.
So that only leaves the last two thousand years to fool the whole world.
They then give a quote to show that we did forget.

"The New Moon is still, and the Sabbath originally was, dependent upon the lunar cycle...Originally the New Moon was celebrated in the same way as the Sabbath. (Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, "Holidays," Vol 5., p. 410.)

Here is what they didn't tell you.
At about 10:40 is where he goes over the quote above.

So like he said, it seems there is some deception in giving Babylon credit for the week and not God.
You can take the word of God or you can take the word of man.
And this man is using words like "seems" which means he doesn't even know.
We many take more time looking at the History of the Sabbath later.
For now lets just say, at least in this video, there is not enough here to go by.

More history showing Constantine changed the week.
Here is a quote from the video:

Saturday, Saturn day, was the first day of the week.
Saturday was moved moved to the seventh day of the week and Sunday was placed as the first day of the week.

None of this even matters since we keep the Seventh Day holy.
Maybe the seventh day was called Sunday or who knows how many other names it was called.
But we don't look for the name Saturday
We look for what day is the seventh day of the week is on and we keep that day.
Just because it falls on Saturday now does not mean were keeping Saturday holy.
We are keeping the Seventh Day holy.

Next he shows a Roman Calendar.

Again with seven days in the week.
Saturday being the first day and Sunday being the Second day.
Venus was the seventh day.
So at that time I guess I would be called a Venus keeper instead of Saturn.
Again it doesn't matter what name they put on the calendar.
I want to know when the Seventh Day is.
And even by that calendar the week still had seven days in it.
So we still know what day to keep since we know what day the seventh day is.
The question still is does the month reset the weeks.

Stop at 9:43

The question is asked: "Has man lost sight of time?"
And the answer for the question is: "Indeed he has"

They then bring up the: Roman Julian Calendar which week had more than seven days.

My problem is that this belief teaches that all Nations forgot what day the Seventh Day was.

Whether you believe the world forgot to reset the weeks each month or whether everyone forgot which day seven is now to me is crazy.

They are saying because of Rome changing calendars all the other nations went along with them and gave up whatever weekly cycle they were keeping.

The Chart Of The Week shown in the video shows the seven day week and those keeping it.
Somehow according to Lunar Sabbath keepers everyone of these forgot how the weekly cycle works.
So far I have not seen one proof where a Nation officially switched from a Lunar Week to a Weekly Cycle.
Yes we have seen all kinds of Calendar changes but where is the weekly change?
I'll admit it looks like there were times when some Nations kept weeks longer than seven days.
But did everyone else go along with that?

1. We can say that up until Christ the Sabbath weekly cycle was correct for those keeping it.
2. We can say that in the book of Acts the gospel went out to the Gentile Nations.
3. From history we can see the Sabbath was kept by Gentile Nations.
So the question is now:
Did all these Nations forget how the weekly cycle works and when to keep the Sabbath.
I'll pass on the history for now because there is just too much to look at.
But I find all this very hard to believe.

Stop at 11:15

Gen 1:13-14 "And the evening and the morning were the third day. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:"

Ex 31:13 "Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you."

Ex 20:20 "And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God."

From this verse they are relating the signs of the heavens to the sign of the sabbath.

This is the same thing they did with the word Feasts which means "Appointed Times".
Just because you have some Appointed Times guided by the moon they then say all Appointed Times are guided by the moon which we know that is crazy because of verses like Jer 8:7.
Now in this verse they saying because Heavens and the Sabbath are signs, then they must be the same sign.
They are not the same sign, like the stone in Josh 4:5-6, it is not the same sign as the heavens.
The Heavens have their sign, the Sabbath has it's Sign, and the Stone has its sign.

Stop at 11:15

Question:

Has the Creator's Sabbath day been forgotten or changed.

Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

The answer is of course yes, even today most keep Sunday over the Seventh Day.
So either way, how for that verse goes into New Calendars, Feast Days and setting up today's Holidays I'm not sure.

Question:

Will we keep the Sabbath and Moon Days, in the new earth?

Is 66:23 "And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Will we keep the Sabbath? Yes (I believe this to be a continues seven day weekly sabbath so far.)
Will we keep New Moons? Yes (Does this mean each month or the feast days?)
This is one I need to study more.
