And Now we get to see who this Beast truly is.
Rev 13:1 "and upon his heads the name of blasphemy."
Rev 13:2 "and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."

John's beast is an amalgamation, combining the characteristics of the three preceding world powers. The Roman Catholic Church, which took over from Pagan Rome as a persecuting power, contains the humanism of Greece (the leopard), the exaltation of Sunday from Medo-Persia (the bear) and worship calculated on a continuous weekly cycle from Babylon (the lion).
The heads of the past were filled with Pagan customs.
Constantine mixed paganism and christianity.
Lets see if there is any similarities between the Daniel 7 little horn and this Beast in Revelation 13.
- Daniel 7:8 - a mouth that spake very great things
- Rev 13:5 - And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies
- Daniel 7:20 - whose look was more stout than his fellows
- Rev 13:4 - Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
- Daniel 7:21 - made war with the saints, and prevailed against them
- Rev 13:7 - And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them.
- Daniel 7:24 - he shall be diverse from the first
- Rev 13:2 - and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
- Daniel 7:25 - he shall speak great words against the most High
- Rev 13:6 - And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
- Daniel 7:25 - shall wear out the saints of the most High
- Rev 13:15 - and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
- Daniel 7:25 - and think to change times and laws
- Rev 13:16 - And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads
- Daniel 7:25 - and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
- Rev 13:5 - power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
So I think it's clear the Daniel 7 horn grows into this Beast.
