The
studies below were more for myself at the time; they were taken from a couple different
prophecy ministries that came to Idaho.
Jac
Colon with Revelation Now in which I gave my heart to the Lord and was
baptized.
The
other meetings were from Russell Burrill.
Some
material also came off the Internet.
Most
of this is a few years old now.
Sorry,
I never kept where I got any information off the Internet, so I’m not sure whom
to credit for that.
I was
putting this together in some sort of timeline with all the verses so I could
better understand it.
I’m
putting it here so anyone can read.
I may
still be adding more to this as I study.
Yes I
believe most of what is written but I am still learning.
Bible Only
Psalms 119:100 "I understand
more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts."
Psalms 119:101 "I have
refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word."
Psalms 119:102 "I have not
departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me."
Psalms 119:103 "How sweet
are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!"
Psalms 119:104 "Through thy
precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way."
Psalms 119:105 "Thy word is
a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
Psalms 119:106 "I have
sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments."
Psalms 119:107 "I am
afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word."
Psalms 119:108 "Accept, I
beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy
judgments."
Prayer
John 1:1 "In the beginning
was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 1:2 "The same was in
the beginning with God."
Where did God's word come from?
He was there all the time.
2 Timothy 3:16 "All
scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
2 Timothy 3:17 "That the man
of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
The Bible is from God.
Choose your doctrine from the scripture.
Instruction and correction of what we believe is in the
Bible.
Instruction manual in how to find righteousness.
2 Peter 1:20 "Knowing this
first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private
interpretation."
2 Peter 1:21 "For the
prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as
they were moved by the Holy Ghost."
1 Corinthians 2:13 "Which
things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which
the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."
The scriptures are not from man but God.
2 John 1:9 "Whosoever
transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that
abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son."
2 John 1:10 "If there come
any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house,
neither bid him God speed:"
The doctrine you should abide in should be the doctrine of
Christ.
Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of
God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him."
Proverbs 30:6 "Add thou not
unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar."
God's word is pure.
Add nothing to the Bible or be found a liar.
Deuteronomy 29:29 "The
secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed
belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of
this law."
What God revealed is for us forever.
Matthew 5:17 "Think not that
I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to
fulfill."
Matthew 5:18 "For verily I
say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise
pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
Matthew 5:19 "Whosoever
therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so,
he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do
and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Do the commandments of God and not what others teach.
Hebrews 4:12 "For the word
of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing
even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
The word of God is powerful.
Galatians 1:6 "I marvel that
ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto
another gospel"
Galatians 1:7 "Which is not
another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of
Christ."
Galatians 1:8 "But though
we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which
we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
Galatians 1:9 "As we said
before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than
that ye have received, let him be accursed."
Galatians 1:10 "For do I now
persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I
should not be the servant of Christ."
Galatians 1:11 "But I
certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after
man."
Galatians 1:12 "For I
neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of
Jesus Christ."
The truth is in the Word of God.
Acts 17:11 "These were more
noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures
daily, whether those things were so."
Search the scriptures daily with a clear mind.
1 Corinthians 11:2 "Now I
praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the
ordinances, as I delivered them to you."
Paul is saying.
Remember the teachings and keep the laws that he is saying.
2 Timothy 1:13 "Hold fast
the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which
is in Christ Jesus."
Learn the words of God.
2 Thessalonians 2:15
"Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have
been taught, whether by word, or our epistle."
Hold to the traditions told in the Bible.
1 Corinthians 14:37 "If any
man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the
things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord."
What was written is commandments of God.
Luke 24:44 "And he said unto
them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you,
that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and
in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me."
All must be fulfilled.
Jesus spoke of the Old Testament here.
If the Old Testament is good enough for Jesus then it should
be good enough for us.
Isaiah 28:16 "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold,
I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone,
a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste."
The Lord is the rock and foundation. Make haste if you
believe not.
Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is
he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those
things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
Keep Gods word for the time of the end is near.
2 Peter 3:15 "And account
that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother
Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;"
2 Peter 3:16 "As also in all
his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard
to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do
also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction."
2 Peter 3:17 "Ye therefore,
beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led
away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness."
2 Peter 3:18 "But grow in
grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be
glory both now and forever. Amen."
Other prophets speak of Paul’s writings.
War In Heaven
Ezekiel 28:14 "Thou art the anointed
cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain
of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire."
Ezekiel 28:15 "Thou wast
perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was
found in thee."
Ezekiel 28:17 "Thine heart
was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason
of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before
kings, that they may behold thee."
Satan was a beautiful perfect created angel and honored by
other angels and created beings.
Ezekiel 28:16 "By the
multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence,
and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain
of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the
stones of fire."
Sin
started in heaven.
Revelation 12:7 "And there
was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the
dragon fought and his
angels,"
Revelation 12:8 "And
prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven."
Revelation 12:9 "And the
great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the Devil, And Satan which
deceiveth the whole world: he was
cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
Because of his sin he was cast out into the earth.
Luke 10:18 "And he said unto
them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."
To show how Satan fell.
Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou
fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the
ground, which didst weaken the nations!"
How did Lucifer fall?
Isaiah 14:13 "For thou hast
said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne
above the stars of God: I will
sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north"
Isaiah 14:14 "I will ascend
above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."
Satan found that heaven had to many rules and wanted not to
worship God.
He also wanted the angles to do what he said and worship
him.
Satan was jealous of God.
He wanted freedom and to do away with God's laws.
Revelation 12:4 "And his
tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the
earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered,
for to devour her child as soon as it was born."
Because of his rebellion he took a third of the angles with
him.
If God just destroyed Satan there then all the angles would
just love God out of fear.
God had to let the devil show what comes with sin.
Did the devil challenge God to show his ways.
I believe the devil-wanted control over some of God's
creation.
God let this be, to show not only us, but also the angles in
heaven
I also believe that this will show other worlds what sin
leads to.
God has to show what sin is to many of his creations so that
we will love him, not out of fear but so that we may know that love for God is
the only way.
Hebrews 1:2 "Hath in these
last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things,
by whom also he made the worlds;"
Hebrews 11:3 "Through faith
we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things
which are seen were not made of things which do appear."
Are there other worlds?
Genesis 1:26 :And God said, Let
us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over
the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and
over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the
earth."
In the first five days God continued to create.
But in this verse on the sixth day it almost looks like he
hesitated.
Notice he said Let us make man in our image.
I believe us is The Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Looks like he may have hesitated to make sure they were
ready to go through with this.
Luke 4:5 "And the devil,
taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the
world in a moment of time."
Luke 4:6 "And the devil said
unto him, all this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is
delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it."
Because of mans fall the devil was given much power on this
world.
Genesis 3:1 "Now the serpent
was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he
said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the
garden?"
Genesis 3:2 "And the woman
said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the
garden:"
Genesis 3:3 "But of the
fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall
not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die."
God said that if we eat of the tree we would die.
Genesis 3:15 "And I will put
enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall
bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
The seed of the serpent must be those who follow the Devil.
So the seed of the women then must be those who worship God.
The Serpent will bruise the woman's heel causing much pain.
But the Woman will be victorious bruising the head of the
serpent.
God sent Jesus to die for our sins and bruised the Devil's
head so that we might not die but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 "For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life."
2 Timothy 1:10 "But is now
made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished
death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:"
1 John 3:8 "He that
committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For
this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of
the devil."
God gave is Son, in order to conquer death so that we might
not die but live again and have everlasting life.
We have a choice to either remain a sinner and die or accept
Gods gift of salvation so that we might live for ever with him.
Revelation 12:10 "And I
heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and
the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our
brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."
Revelation 12:11 "And they
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and
they loved not their lives unto the death."
Revelation 12:12 "Therefore
rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the
earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath,
because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."
The devil only has a short time and will cause as much
trouble as he can.
Woe to us for the devil is come to destroy us.
But Jesus over came death and all we have to do is accept
his salvation.
Creation
Genesis 1
All about creation.
Genesis 1:31 "And God saw every
thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And
the evening and the morning were
the sixth day."
What God created was Good.
This also shows that the day starts with the evening and
that this day cannot be anymore then one day.
Genesis 2:2 "And on the
seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on
the seventh day from all his work
which he had made."
Genesis 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day, and
sanctified it: because that in it he had
rested from all his work which God
created and made."
God blesses and made holy the seventh Day. The day also
shows God created the world.
Genesis 2:7 "And the LORD
God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his
nostrils the breath of life; and
man became a living soul."
Are bodies are from the dust of the ground.
But with the breath of life we became a Soul.
Genesis 3:3 "But of the
fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye
shall not eat of it, neither
shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Genesis 3:4 "And the serpent
said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die"
Genesis 3:5 "For God doth
know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened,
and ye shall be as gods, knowing
good and evil."
Genesis 3:6 "And when the woman
saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant
to the eyes, and a tree to be
desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof,
and did eat, and gave also unto
her husband with her; and he did eat."
We died unto sin.
Genesis 3:21 "Unto Adam also
and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and
clothed them."
The first time something had to die to cover the sins of
man.
Genesis 3:14
"And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou
art
cursed above all cattle, and
above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou
go, and dust shalt thou eat all
the days of thy life"
Genesis 3:15 "And I will put
enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and
her seed; it shall bruise thy
head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
The seed of the serpent must be those who follow the Devil.
The seed of the women then must be those who worship God.
The Serpent will bruise the woman's heel causing much pain.
But the Woman will be victorious bruising the head of the
serpent.
Life, Death, and Where do we go when we die.
Genesis 2:7 "And the LORD
God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became a living soul."
God first made man from the dust.
He than breathed the breath of life into man.
We became a soul.
He did not say he gave us a soul or put in us a soul.
Genesis 12:5 "And Abram took
Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they
had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth
to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came."
Abram took the people not a bunch of ghosts.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the
earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it."
The word here for spirit in Hebrews is used as many words -
Spirit, Life, Air, Wind.
So is this opposite from life?
When we die our spirit (air, life) goes back to God.
John 5:28 "Marvel not at this:
for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his
voice,"
Where are the dead?
Jesus says were in the grave.
Psalms 146:4 "His breath
goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts
perish."
God takes back our breath of life.
Our thoughts perish.
Are we thinking after we die?
Psalms 115:17 "The dead
praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence."
Can a Christian praise God when we die?
Ecclesiastes 9:5 "For the
living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither
have they any more a reward; for
the memory of them is forgotten."
Do the dead know anything?
Ecclesiastes 9:6 "Also their
love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have
they any more a portion for ever
in any thing that is done under the sun."
Ecclesiastes 9:10
"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no
work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou
goest."
Again it says were going to the grave.
John 11:11 "These things
said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I
go, that I may awake him out of sleep."
John 11:12 "Then said his
disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well."
John 11:13 "Howbeit Jesus
spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in
sleep."
John 11:14 "Then said Jesus
unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead."
What are we doing while we are in the grave.
Jesus thought of it as he were asleep.
II Samuel 7:12 "And when thy
days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy
seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish
his kingdom."
Again the Lord here uses sleep.
Luke 23:43 "And Jesus said
unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in
paradise."
This verse looks like the thief on the cross will see Jesus
in heaven as soon as he dies.
The Greek language did not have commas though.
What did Jesus say?
Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in
paradise.
or did he say
Verily I say unto thee to day, shalt thou be with me in
paradise.
This is the only time we see a phrase with "To
day" so it could very well be that it does say "today you will be
with me in paradise".
Even if it does mean that, when the Thief wakes up it will
seem to him the same day.
John 20:17 "Jesus saith unto
her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my
brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."
Jesus had not yet gone to his Father.
Was he in heaven yet?
How could Jesus see the thief that day if he had not even
been to heaven yet?
Luke 16:22 "And it came to
pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom:
the rich man also died, and was buried;"
Luke 16:23 "And in hell he
lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in
his bosom."
Luke 16:24 "And he cried and
said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the
tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this
flame."
This looks like there is life right after death.
But is this a Parable?
Luke 15:3 "And he spake this
parable unto them, saying,"
Is there a series of parables from chapter 15 up until the
rich man and Lazarus in chapter 16?
1. The lost sheep - Luke 15:3-7
2. The lost coin - Luke 15:8-10
3. The lost boy Luke 15:11-32
4. The unjust steward - Luke 16:1-13
5. The rich man and Lazarus - Luke 16:19-31
1 Corinthians 15:51 "Behold,
I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be
changed,"
1 Corinthians 15:52 "In a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be
changed."
We will sleep till the last trumpet and be changed.
Daniel 12:2 "And many of
them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life,
and some to shame and everlasting contempt."
John 5:28 "Marvel not at
this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall
hear his voice,"
John 5:29 "And shall come
forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that
have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."
There will be two resurrections.
One for the good.
One for the evil.
Job 21:30 "That the wicked
is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day
of wrath."
Job 21:31 "Who shall declare
his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done?"
Where are the wicked going?
The wicked will be reserved to the day of destruction.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 "But I
would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep,
that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."
1 Thessalonians 4:14: "For
if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in
Jesus will God bring with him."
1 Thessalonians 4:15 "For
this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are
asleep."
1 Thessalonians 4:16 "For
the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise
first:"
1 Thessalonians 4:17 "Then
we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the
clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the
Lord."
1 Thessalonians 4:18
"Wherefore comfort one another with these words."
Comfort those who die, that we are asleep in Jesus.
1 Corinthians, 15:22 "For as
in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
1 Corinthians, 15:23 "But
every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are
Christ's at his coming."
Every one in Christ will live with him.
But there is a order in which we go.
Jesus first.
Later those that are in Christ at his coming.
1 Corinthians 15
The whole chapter talks about death and resurrection.
Gods People of Old
Genesis 12:1 "Now the LORD
had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and
from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:"
Genesis 12:2 "And I will make of thee a great
nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a
blessing"
Genesis 12:3 "And I will
bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall
all families of the earth be blessed"
Genesis 18:18 "Seeing that
Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of
the earth shall be blessed in him"
Genesis 22:17 "That in
blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the
stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed
shall possess the gate of his enemies;"
Genesis 22:18 "And in thy
seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my
voice."
Genesis 28:13 "And, behold,
the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and
the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to
thy seed;"
Genesis 28:14 "And thy seed
shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west,
and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy
seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed."
Exodus 32:13 "Remember
Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self,
and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all
this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall
inherit it for ever."
God’s people are the seed of Abraham.
Gods Laws
Exodus 20:1 "And God spake
all these words, saying,"
Exodus 20:2 "I am the LORD

make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in
heaven above, or that is in the
earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth"
Exodus 20:5 "Thou shalt not
bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a
jealous God, visiting the
iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth
generation of them that hate
me;"
Exodus 20:6 "And shewing
mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my
commandments."
Exodus 20:7 "Thou shalt not

name in vain."
Exodus 20:8 "Remember the
sabbath day, to keep it holy."
Exodus 20:9 "Six days shalt
thou labour, and do all thy work:"
Exodus 20:10 "But the
seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any
work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy
cattle, nor thy stranger that is
within thy gates:"
Exodus 20:11 "For in six
days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and
rested the seventh day: wherefore
the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Exodus 20:12 "Honour thy
father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the
LORD thy God giveth thee."
Exodus 20:13 "Thou shalt not
kill."
Exodus 20:14 "Thou shalt not
commit adultery."
Exodus 20:15 "Thou shalt not
steal."
Exodus 20:16 "Thou shalt not
bear false witness against thy neighbour."
Exodus 20:17 "Thou shalt not
covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife,
nor his manservant, nor his
maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy
neighbour's."
God's Promise Part 1
Exodus 19:5: Now therefore, if ye
will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar
treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
This was a conditional prophecy.
If the people would put worship God then the land would be
theirs.
Judges 2:6 “And when Joshua had
let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance
to possess the land.”
Judges 2:7 “And the people served
the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived
Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel.”
Judges 2:8 “And Joshua the son of
Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.”
Judges 2:9 “And they buried him
in the border of his inheritance in Timnath-heres, in the mount of Ephraim, on
the north side of the hill Gaash.”
Judges 2:10 “And also all that
generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation
after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for
Israel.”
Judges 2:11 “And the children of
Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim:”
Judges 2:12 “And they forsook the
LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and
followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed
themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger.”
Judges 2:13 “And they forsook the
LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.”
Judges 2:14 “And the anger of the
LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers
that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round
about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.”
Judges 2:15 “Whithersoever they
went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had said,
and as the LORD had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed.”
Judges 2:16 ‘Nevertheless the
LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that
spoiled them.”
Judges 2:17 “And yet they would
not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and
bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their
fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not so.”
Judges 2:18 “And when the LORD
raised them up judges, then the LORD was with the judge, and delivered them out
of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the
LORD because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed
them.”
Judges 2:19 “And it came to pass,
when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than
their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto
them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.”
Judges 2:20 “And the anger of the
LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath
transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not
hearkened unto my voice;
Judges 2:21 “I also will not
henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when
he died:”
Judges 2:22 “That through them I
may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein,
as their fathers did keep it, or not.”
Judges 2:23 “Therefore the LORD
left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them
into the hand of Joshua.”
God sent people to turn them from their sinful ways but the
people would always fall back into doing evil.
Jeremiah 7:4 "Trust ye not
in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The
temple of the LORD, are these."
Jeremiah 7:5 "For if ye
throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment
between a man and his neighbour; "
Jeremiah 7:6 "If ye oppress not
the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in
this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:"
Jeremiah 7:7 "Then will I
cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for
ever and ever."
Another conditional prophesy.
This time about the temple and the land.
None of these have to be fulfilled. God is using
"IF" many times.
If the people follow the
promise then the land and the temple will remain theirs.
Jeremiah 18:6 "O house of
Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the
clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel."
Jeremiah 18:7 "At what
instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck
up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;"
Jeremiah 18:8 "If that
nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of
the evil that I thought to do unto them."
Jeremiah 18:9 "And at what
instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build
and to plant it;"
Jeremiah 18:10 "If it do
evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good,
wherewith I said I would benefit them."
Jeremiah 18:11 "Now
therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and
devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and
make your ways and your doings good."
Now the Lord is not telling the good that will come but the
bad.
The promise is turned around.
Weeks and Days
Ezekiel 4:6 "And when thou
hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt
bear the iniquity of the house of
Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for
a year."
This shows that a day can represent a year.
Genesis 29:27,28 "Fulfill
her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt
serve with me yet seven other years.
And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week:"
This shows that a week can represent seven years.
70 Weeks are
Determined.
Because the people did not listen, God then gives the people
a time period.
After telling your kid what to do many times, if he still
does not listen, many then give the kid a certain amount of time before the
punishment comes.
This is part of what God is telling Daniel.
If the people refuse to worship God then the temple and the
land will be taken away from them and never returned.
Daniel 9:24 "Seventy weeks are
determined upon thy people and upon the holy city, to finish the trangression,
and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to
bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and
to anoint the most Holy."
70 weeks are determined to bring about much for Israel.
There are 7 days in a week so lets times: 70*7=490
Weeks means years so it would take 490 years to fulfill this
prophecy.
Probation period-------------------------------------490
Decree to rebuild Jerusalem----------------------457BC
33AD
Plus one since there is no Zero year. +1AD
34AD
Saul was changed to Paul and he started his ministry to the
Gentiles in 34 AD.
The 69th Week
Daniel 9:25 "Know therefore and
understand, that from the goin forth of the commandment to restore to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the
Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be
build again, and the wall, even in troublous times."
Messiah, means Anointed One.
Threescore means 60.
Threescore and two weeks = 62 weeks.
62 weeks + the seven weeks = 69.
There is seven days
in a week so 69*7=483.
Weeks equal years so 483 years till the Messiah.
The years till the Messiah comes---------------------------------483
The Decree to rebuild Jerusalem is
----------------------------457 BC
26
AD
Add one more year because there +1
was no Zero in between BC and AD.
27 AD
Jesus was baptized in 27 AD.
The Anointed One came right on time.
End of 62 Weeks
Daniel 9:26 "And after
threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the
people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;
and the end there of shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war
desolations are determined."
Threescore is 60 + two weeks = 62
It says after the 62 weeks the Messiah is to be cut off.
The second half of Daniel 9:25 time is 62 weeks.
So after the end of the 62 weeks the Messiah will be cut
off.
Jesus died on the cross in 31 AD.
But not for himself?
Jesus died on the cross for us.
The second half of this scripture does not have a time.
Jerusalem and the Sanctuary will be destroyed again.
This happened in 70 AD.
The 70th Week
Daniel 9:27 "And he shall
confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he
shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading
of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and
that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."
The seventieth week ended in 34 AD so in the middle of the
week 27AD-34AD would be around 31AD.
So in 31 AD we would no longer need to sacrifice animals for
forgiveness of sins.
69th week----------------------27 AD
70th week----------------------34 AD
Mid Week---------------------30-31AD
Jesus died on the cross around 31 AD.
The blood of Jesus wipes away are sins.
We no longer need to sacrifice animals.
God's Promise Part II
God had promised that the time period for the Jews to return
to God was running out.
The 70th week marked the end of that period.
Did this prophesy disturb Daniel?
Daniel 10:2 "2: In those
days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks."
This bothered Daniel very much, time was running out and the
people did not want to change their ways.
Galatians 4:4 "But when the
fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made
under the law,"
Galatians 4:5 "To redeem
them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons."
Jesus was sent for all men, not just a certain nation.
Luke 19:41 "And when he was
come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,"
Luke 19:42 "Saying, If thou
hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto
thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes."
Luke 19:43 "For the days
shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and
compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,"
Luke 19:44 "And shall lay
thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not
leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy
visitation."
Matthew 23:36 "Verily I say
unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation."
Matthew 23:37 "O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent
unto thee, how often would I have
gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her
wings, and ye would not!"
Matthew 23:38 "Behold, your
house is left unto you desolate."
Matthew 23:39 "For I say
unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that
cometh in the name of the Lord."
The building is left desolate.
There time is over.
The temple would be destroyed and no longer can the Jews
declare that they are the only seed of Abraham. Only those that believe Jesus is the savior and follow him will
be saved.
Matthew 21:33 "Hear another
parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged
it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out
to husbandmen, and went into a far country:"
Matthew 21:34 "And when the
time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they
might receive the fruits of it."
Matthew 21:35 "And the
husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned
another."
Matthew 21:36 "Again, he
sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise."
Matthew 21:37 "But last of
all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son."
Matthew 21:38 "But when the
husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let
us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance."
Matthew 21:39 "And they
caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him."
Matthew 21:40 "When the lord
therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?"
Matthew 21:41 "They say unto
him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard
unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their
seasons."
Matthew 21:42 "Jesus saith
unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders
rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing,
and it is marvellous in our eyes?"
Matthew 21:43 "Therefore say
I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation
bringing forth the fruits thereof."
The word here for nation means:
1..a multitude
(whether of men or of beasts)
associated or
living together
a.a company,
troop, swarm
2. a tribe, nation, people group
Matthew 21:44 "And whosoever
shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it
will grind him to powder."
Matthew 21:45 "And when the
chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he
spake of them."
Matthew 21:46 "But when they
sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him
for a prophet. "
The promise would be given to the people (Christians) that
believed in him - Jesus.
1 Peter 2:9 "But ye are a
chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that
ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness
into his marvellous light:"
1 Peter 2:10 "Which in time
past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained
mercy, but now have obtained mercy."
We the people of God are the new holy nation.
Galatians 3:27 "For as many
of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ."
Galatians 3:28 "There is
neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male
nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
Galatians 3:29 "And if ye be
Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
We are all one in Christ Jesus, the Jews are the same as us,
and if we believe in him we will be of Abraham's seed and the heirs of his
promise.
Galatians 6:14 "But God
forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom
the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world."
Galatians 6:15 "For in
Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a
new creature."
Galatians 6:16 "And as many
as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the
Israel o God."
What is our new name here?
THE ISRAEL OF GOD.
John 4:21 "Jesus saith unto
her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this
mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father."
John 4:22 "Ye worship ye
know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews."
John 4:23 "But the hour
cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in
spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him."
John 4:24 "God is a Spirit:
and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
John 4:25 "The woman saith
unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come,
he will tell us all things."
John 4:26 "Jesus saith unto
her, I that speak unto thee am he."
Do you want to be part of the Israel Of God?
Israel
Amos 9:11 "In that day will I
raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches
thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of
old"
The temple will rise once again.
Revelation 2:9 "I know thy works, and tribulation, and
poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they
are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."
Romans 2:28 "For he is not a
Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in
the flesh:"
Romans 2:29 "But he is a
Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the
spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."
To be a Jew is from the inside not outside?
Romans 9:6 "Not as though
the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are
of Israel"
Romans 9:7 "Neither, because
they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy
seed be called."
They are not all Israel, which are of Israel?

heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence:
and he saith,)"
Acts 22:3 "I am verily a man
which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city
at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law

Acts 22:4 "And I persecuted
this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and
women."

Acts 22:6 "And it came to
pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon,
suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me."
Acts 22:7 "And I fell unto
the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou

New Covenant
Hebrews 9:11 "But Christ
being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect
tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;"
Hebrews 9:12 "either by the
blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the
holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."
Redemption is through Jesus now.
We do not need to sacrifice no more.
Salvation
1 John 5:13 "These things
have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may
know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son
of God."
Continue to believe so that you may know you have eternal
life.
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"
Ephesians 2:9 "Not of works, lest any man should boast."
You are save through God's grace through faith in Jesus.
It is a gift.. Not something you earn.
Not from works. So that no one can boast.
Romans 3:31 "Do we then make
void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Because we are saved by grace means we should want to
establish God's laws.
Romans 3:23 "For all have
sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
We have all sinned.
Genesis 3:3 "But of the
fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall
not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die."
God said that if we eat of the tree we would die.
Adam and Eve ate the tree and since then we have all been
born into sin.
But the Woman will be victorious bruising the head of the
serpent.
God sent Jesus to die for our sins and bruised the Devil's
head.
Romans 6:23 "For the wages
of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord."
Because of sin we deserve to die.
John 3:16 "For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life."
But God gave us a gift, Jesus Christ, so that we may have
eternal life.
Ephesians: 2:1 "And you hath
he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins"
We were dead because of sin but Jesus conquered death baring
our sin.
1 John 2:1 "My little
children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin,
we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"
1 John 2:2 "And he is the
propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the
whole world."
Jesus bared the sins for the whole world.
John 1:1 "In the beginning
was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
The Word was God
John 1:14 "And the Word was
made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of
grace and truth."
Jesus is God who became man for us.
Romans 3:25 "Whom God hath
set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for other remission f sins that are past, through the forbearance
of God;"
He became a sacrifice for us to show righteousness and that
he is a just God.
2 Corinthians 5:21 "For he
hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him."
Jesus knew no sin but Jesus became sin.
When Jesus died on the cross he became guilty for our sins.
He took our guilt and placed it on Christ.
God then gives us the perfect life that Christ lived.
This is how we can enter into heaven.
If we accept the gift of Christ's perfect life and the
forgiveness for our sins then we can know we have life.
1 John 5:11 "And this is the
record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his
Son."
1 John 5:12 "He that hath
the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."
All we need to do is accept Jesus.
If we have Jesus we have eternal life.
Matthew 7:21 "Not every one
that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he
that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
Asking Jesus into our lives is more then just saying the
words.
We must invite him as Lord, Master and Savior.
We must be willing to be obedient to him.
Our obedience don't save us but he gives us a desire to love
his ways.
John 3:3 "Jesus answered and
said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 3:4 "Nicodemus saith
unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time
into his mother's womb, and be born?"
John 3:5 "Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the
Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
John 3:6 "That which is born
of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."
John 3:7 "Marvel not that I
said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
Except Christ, get baptized and receive the Holy Spirit.
Titus 3:4 "But after that
the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,"
Titus 3:5 "Not by works of
righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by
the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"
Titus 3:6 "Which he shed on
us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;"
We are saved because of God's love.
Not because of our works but because of his mercy.
Only through Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new."
We are not the same person, we have become new.
1 John 1:9 "If we confess
our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness."
He forgives us of any sins.
1 John 3:1 "Behold, what
manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the
sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."
We become sons and daughters of God.
Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I
stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will
come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Will you open the door and let Jesus in your heart?
Jerusalem and Temple Destroyed - 70 AD
In 70 AD, the Roman Army, under Titus, destroys Jerusalem and
the Temple, to suppress an uprising of the Jews. According to the historian
Josephus, about 1.1 million Jews were killed. Others were sold as slaves.
Was Jesus a Jew?
Matthew 2:23 "And he came
and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was
spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene."
Gods People of New
Galatians 3:6 "Even as
Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."
Galatians 3:7 "Know ye
therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of
Abraham"
Galatians 3:8 "And the
scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith,"
preached before the gospel unto
Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed."
Galatians 3:9 "So then they
which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham."
Galatians 3:29 "And if ye be
Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Every one in Christ after the cross is now the seed of
Abraham.
Revelation 2:9 "I know thy
works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the
blasphemy of them which say they
are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."
Romans 2:28 "For he is not a
Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is
outward in the flesh:"
Romans 2:29 "But he is a
Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the
spirit, and not in the letter;
whose praise is not of men, but of God."
The true Jews are the ones who praise God.
Romans 9:6 "Not as though
the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel,
which are of Israel:"
Romans 9:7 "Neither, because
they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac
shall thy seed be called."
Romans 9:8 "That is, They which
are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but
the children of the promise are
counted for the seed."
Israel is now God's People.
Gods Church.
Colossians 1:18 "And he is
the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the
dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."
Colossians 1:19 "For it
pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;"
Colossians 1:20 "And, having
made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto
himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in
heaven."
Jesus is the head of the Church.
Ephesians 1:22 "And hath put all things under his
feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,"
Ephesians 1:23 "Which is his
body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all."
The Church is the body of Christ or any who give him subject
of their life.
Jesus is the Head.
The people make up the body.
Matthew 18:20 "For where two
or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of
them."
It does not take any building or denomination to believe and
worship God.
Ephesians 5:23 "For the
husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and
he is the saviour of the body."
Ephesians 5:24 "Therefore as
the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in
every thing."
Christ is the head of the Church.
The Church is subject to Christ only.
Ephesians 4:11 "And he gave
some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors
and teachers;"
Ephesians 4:12 "For the
perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the
body of Christ:"
All the teachers, apostles, prophets, pastors, ect. are for
the edifying of the body of Christ.
We learn from them so we might also grow in God.
Ephesians 2:19 "Now
therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the
saints, and of the household of God;"
Ephesians 2:20 "And are
built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself
being the chief corner stone;"
Jesus is the corner stone, no man.
Follow Jesus.
Revelation 12:13 "And when
the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which
brought forth the man child."
The dragon is the Devil.
The women is the Church.
The Devil is persecuting the Church.
Revelation 12:14 "And to the
woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness,
into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time,
from the face of the serpent."
God is protecting the Church here.
Revelation 12:17 "And the
dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed,
which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus
Christ."
The Devil get mad at the church.
Remnant means the last part.
The last of the church is those who keep God's commandments
and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
I believe he means all ten.
Revelation 19:10 "And I fell
at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy
fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship
God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
Believe what the prophets said.
Revelation 22:6 "And he said
unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy
prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly
be done."
Revelation 22:7 "Behold, I
come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this
book."
Study and believe what the word of God has to say.
Babylon - 605 BC
Daniel 2:32 - "This image's
head was of fine gold"
Daniel 2:38 - "Thou art his
head of gold."
Daniel interpreting Nebuchadnezzar's ruler of Babylon's
Dream.
Daniel 7:4 - "The first was
like a lion".
Revelation 13:2 - "and his
mouth as the mouth of a lion"
Daniel 7:4 "The first was like a lion, and had
eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted
up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was
given to it."
The wings represent that the world was conquered very
quickly.
Medo-Persia - 538 BC
Babylon is over thrown by Medo-Persia.
Daniel 5:30 "And Darius the
Median took the kingdom"
The Meds were actually united with the Persians to form Medo
-Persia.
Daniel 2:32 - "his breast
and his arms of silver"
Daniel 7:5 - "And behold another beast, a second,
like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side"
Revelation 13:2 "and his
feet were as the feet of a bear"
Daniel 8:3 - "a ram which
had two horns"
Daniel 8:20 - "The ram which
thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia."
Daniel 8:3 "And the two
horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up
last."
Clearly show the two parts of Medo-Persia.
Daniel 8:4 "I saw the ram
pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand
before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he
did according to his will, and became great."
Medo-Persia is shown as great.
Greece - 331 BC
Daniel 2:32 "his belly and
his thighs of brass"
Daniel 2:39 "And after thee shall
arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass,
which shall bear rule over all the earth."
Daniel 7:6 "After this I
beheld, and lo another, like a leopard"
Revelation 13:2 "And the
beast which I saw was like unto a leopard"
Daniel 8:5 "behold, an he
goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the
ground and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes."
Daniel 8:21 "And the rough
goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the
first king."
The horn represents the first king of Greece "Alexander the Great".
Daniel 8:8 "Therefore the he
goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was
broken;" The horn being
broken represents the death of Alexander who at the age of 32 after conquering
the entire civilized world.
Daniel 7:6 "After this I
beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four
wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to
it."
Daniel 8:8 "and when he was
strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward
the four winds of heaven."
Daniel 8:22 "Now that being
broken whereas four stood up for it"
After Alexander died his kingdom was divided among his four
leading generals - Cassander, Lysimachus, Seleucus, and Ptolemy.
Daniel 8:8 "Therefore the he
goat waxed very great"
Greece is shown as very great.
Rome - 196 BC
Daniel 2:33 "his legs of
iron"
Daniel 2:40 "And the fourth
kingdom shall be strong as iron."
Daniel 7:7 "and behold a fourth beast, dreadful
and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth:"
Daniel 7:19 "Then I would
know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others,
exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which
devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;"
Daniel 7:23 "Thus he said,
The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse
from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down,
and break it in pieces."
This describes the old Pagan Rome.
Daniel 8:8 "and when he was
strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward
the four winds of heaven."
Daniel 8:9 "And out of one of
them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the
south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
Many believe that this is Antiochus Epiphanes, in Daniel 8,
it does look allot like it would be him.
But did this horn come out of the four notable ones or is
this power coming out of the four winds of heaven?
The four winds of heaven is simply one of the directions of
the compass.
Antiochus Epiphanes took power but never became greater.
This power must become exceeding great.
Rome became exceeding great.
Daniel 8:9 "And out of one
of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the
south,"
This was true of Rome. Egypt was made a province of the
Roman Empire in 30 B.C., and continued such for some centuries.
Daniel 8:9 "and toward the
east,"
Rome conquered Syria in 65 B.C., and made it a province.
Daniel 8:9 "and toward the
pleasant land."
What is the pleasant land?
Jeremiah 3:18 "In those days
the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come
together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an
inheritance unto your fathers.
Jeremiah 3:19 "But I said,
How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land,
a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My
father; and shalt not turn away from me."
Judea became known as the pleasant land.
The Romans made it a province of their empire in 63 B.C.
Rome eventually destroyed Judea the city and the temple, and
scattered the Jews throughout the earth.
Daniel 8:11 "Yea, he
magnified himself even to the prince of the host"
Who is the prince of the host?
Daniel 8:25 "he shall also
stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without
hand."
Or the Prince of princes?
Revelation 1:5 "And from
Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead,
and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us
from our sins in his own blood,"
Jesus is the prince, Rome is the one who crucified him.
Antiochus Epiphanes died long before Jesus came.
Sabbath is Changed -
325 A.D.
Daniel 7:25 "And he shall
speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the
most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be
given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
The beast is to change times and laws.
Could times be Saturday and Sunday.
Law the Commandments of
God.
Back then Emperor Constantine
thought it would be easier for pagans to become Christians if some of
their beliefs were modified and then
incorporated into Christianity. So in 325 A.D. Constantine enacted
the first Sunday Law proclaiming the
Day of the Sun ("Sunday") as Rome's official day of rest from
work. As the centuries passed,
various church councils and Popes solidified on Sunday as the day for the
masses to rest from work and worship God.
Romans 3:30 "Seeing it is
one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision
through faith."
Romans 3:31 "Do we then make
void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Because we are saved by grace means
we should establish God's laws.
Nehemiah 13:15 "In those
days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in
sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of
burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified
against them in the day wherein they sold victuals."
Nehemiah 13:16 "There dwelt
men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold
on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem."
Nehemiah 13:17 "Then I
contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this
that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?"
Nehemiah 13:18 "Did not your
fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this
city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath."
Nehemiah 13:19 "And it came
to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath,
I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be
opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that
there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day."
Nehemiah 13:20 "So the
merchants and sellers of all kind of ware lodged without Jerusalem once or
twice."
Nehemiah 13:21 "Then I testified against them, and
said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands
on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath."
We should not buy or sell or be in
a hurry for the Sabbath to end.
Romans 7:7 "What shall we
say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law:
for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet."
Romans 7:12 "Wherefore the
law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good."
Romans 7:14 "For we know
that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin."
What law is he talking about?
The Law is holy.
The Law is Just.
The Law is Good.
The Law is Spiritual.
James 2:10 "For whosoever
shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of
all."
James 2:11 "For he that
said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no
adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law."
Again which law is he talking
about?
Should we keep them all?
John 5:46 "For had ye
believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me."
John 5:47 "But if ye believe
not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?"
If we can't believe Moses how will
we believe Jesus?
Malachi 3:6 "For I am the
LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."
Does the Lord change?
Proverbs 6:23 "For the
commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are
the way of life:"
Do you want God to light your path?
The commandments are instructions
to our way of life.
Did Jesus keep the
Sabbath?
Mark 1:21 "And they went
into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the
synagogue, and taught."
Mark 6:2 "And when the
sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him
were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what
wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought
by his hands?"
Jesus taught on the sabbath.
Luke 4:16 "And he came to
Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into
the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read."
Jesus went to the synagogue to read on the Sabbath.
This was his custom.
Was the Sabbath kept after Jesus died on the Cross?
Luke 23:55 "And the women also,
which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and
how his body was laid."
Luke 23:56 "And they
returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day
according to the commandment."
The sabbath was kept right after.
Acts 13:27 "For they that
dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the
voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled
them in condemning him."
The teachings of the prophets were read every sabbath.
Acts 15:21 "For Moses of old
time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues
every sabbath day."
Looks like the teachings of Moses was read every sabbath.
Acts 17:2 "And Paul, as his
manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of
the scriptures,"
Acts 17:3 "Opening and
alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead;
and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ."
Paul teaches on the sabbath.
Acts 18:4 "And he reasoned
in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks."
Looks like Paul taught in the synagogue every sabbath.
Rome has split into ten - by 476 AD
Daniel 2:33 "His legs of
iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay."
Daniel 2:41 "And whereas
thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters clay and part of iron, the
kingdom shall be divided".
Daniel 7:7 "After this I saw
in the night visions, and behold a forth beast, dreadful and terrible, and
strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in
pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from
all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns."
Daniel 7:20 "And of the ten
horns that were in his head".
Revelation 13:1 "And I stood
upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven
heads and ten horns."
Daniel 7:23 " Thus he said,
The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse
from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down,
and break it in pieces."
The beast will break in pieces.
Daniel 7:24 "And the ten
horns out of his kingdom are the ten kings that shall arise:"
Part of iron and part of clay, iron and clay will not work with
each other.
Massive Barbarian invasions took place up through 476 A.D.
The ten nations were the:
1. Alemani (Germany)
2. Franks (French)
3. Burgundians (Switzerland)
4. Suevi (Portugal)
5. Anglo-Saxon (Britian)
6. Visigoths (Spain)
7. Lombards (Italy)
8. Vandals
9. Ostrogoths
10. Heruli
These are the ten toes.
Three Kingdoms Uprooted - 493,
534, 538
Daniel 2:42 "And as the toes
of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly
strong, and partly broken [or "brittle"]."
Daniel 7:8 " I considered
the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before
whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots:"
Daniel 7:20 "And of the ten
horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom
three fell"
Daniel 7:24 "And the ten
horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall
rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue
three kings. "
Three kingdoms from the divisions
of Rome opposed the spiritual supremacy of the papacy.
They were the:
Herulis - destroyed in 493
Vandals -destroyed in 534
Ostrogoths - uprooted from Rome in
538 and destroyed in 553.
Explaining Daniel
Eight - Ten through Thirteen.
Verse Ten:
Daniel 8:9 "And out of one
of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the
south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land."
Shows Rome.
Daniel 8:10 "And it waxed
great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and
of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them."
Another word for host is army.
So who is the armies of heaven?
Daniel 8:24 "And his power
shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully,
and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy
people."
Daniel 8:25 "And through his
policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify
himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many"
I believe Host is talking about Gods people.
Verse Eleven:
Daniel 8:11 "Yea, he
magnified himself even to the prince of the host"
The prince of the Host?
Daniel 8:25 "he shall also
stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without
hand."
Who is the prince of the host or the Prince of princes?
Revelation 1:5 "And from
Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead,
and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us
from our sins in his own blood,"
Jesus is the prince.
Daniel 8:11 "Yea, he
magnified himself even to the prince of the host"
Daniel 8:25 "he shall also
stand up against the Prince of princes;"
Jesus is the prince, Rome is the one who crucified him.
Daniel 8:11 "and by him the
daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast
down."
The Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Sanctuary in 70 AD.
Lets do thirteen first then come back to twelve.
Verse Thirteen:
In this passage many will say that Daniel 8:13 is about one
event.
I'm trying to show that this is used as a more general use.
Daniel 8:13 "Then I heard
one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake,
How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give
both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?"
First off the word "sacrifice" is Italicized, this
means that the translators inserted the word in hopes to give us a better
understanding of the passage.
Second the word here for "daily" in Hebrew was
translated "continually" or "continual" 79 times, only
seven times was it translated "daily" and five of those times are in
Daniel.
In fact the Hebrew word found here translated as "daily
sacrifice" is only found in Daniel.
Now lets take a look at the Transgression of Desolation.
Daniel 8:13 "Then I heard
one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake,
How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give
both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?"
The word Transgression means rebellion and sins against God
Example for Transgression:
Job 13:23 " How many are
mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin."
The word desolation means to leave the land as waste and
deserted.
Example for Desolation:
Leviticus 26:31 "And I will
make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will
not smell the savour of your sweet odours."
Leviticus 26:32 "And I will
bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be
astonished at it."
Now lets look at the scripture again using what we have
learned.
Lets take out the word sacrifice that was put in and change transgression
of desolation to better help understand the meaning.
Daniel 8:13 "Then I heard
one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake,
How long shall be the vision concerning "the continual, the rebellion
of sins against God, and the land left for waste," to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden
under foot?"
Now this sounds more like the time the church is going
through paganism.
Daniel 8:13 "Then I heard
one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake,
How long shall be the vision concerning the "church fallen into paganism?" to give both the sanctuary and Gods people
to be trodden under foot?"
All I’m trying to point out here that this does not pertain to
one event, that this is a general meaning and can apply to many different
events and circumstances.
Here is an example in Ezekiel:
Ezekiel 33:29 "Then shall
they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because
of all their abominations which they have committed."
Daniel 8:13 is most likely talking about the time started in
this chapter which is Medo-Persia and ends at the cleansing of the Sanctuary.
Now back to twelve.
Verse Twelve:
Daniel 8:12 "And an host was
given him against the daily sacrifice
by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it
practised, and prospered."
Or interpret this as:
Daniel 8:12 "And Gods people was given him against the continual rebellion
against God, and it cast down the truth to
the ground; and it practised, and prospered."
Now lets put it all together.
Verses 8:10-13 redo.
Daniel 8:9 "And out of one
of them came forth a little horn "Rome",
which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward
the pleasant land."
Daniel 8:10 "And it waxed
great, even to Gods Holy People and
it cast down some of Gods people and of the
stars to the ground, and stamped upon them."
Daniel 8:11 "Yea, he
magnified himself even above "Jesus the leader of God's people" and by him he
continually took away, destroying Jerusalem and the Sanctuary in 70 AD."
Daniel 8:12 "And Gods people was given to Rome for the continual rebellion against God, and Rome cast down the
truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered."
Daniel 8:13 "Then I heard
one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake,
How long shall be the vision concerning "the continual
rebellion of sins against God, and the land left for waste," to give both the sanctuary and Gods people to be trodden under foot?"
Antichrist/First Beast - 538 AD
Will use the redo verses for Daniel 8:10-13.
Daniel 8:10 "And it waxed
great, even to Gods Holy People and
it cast down some of Gods people and of the
stars to the ground, and stamped upon them."
Daniel 8:24 "And his power
shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully,
and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy
people."
Daniel 8:25 "And through his
policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify
himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many"
Many Christians during this time will be killed.
Daniel 8:24 "And his power
shall be mighty, but not by his own power:"
Daniel 7:24 "And the ten horns
out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise
after them; and he shall be diverse from the first,"
How did he get this power?
How is this power different from the others?
Revelation 13:2 "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Constantine wanted to move the capital. When he left Rome he turned it over to the
Bishop of Rome.
Before the power was only a political power.
After the Bishop comes into power the beast or Rome now is
under both political and religious power.
Labanca, Prof. of History at the
University of Rome: "To the succession of the Caesars came the succession
of the Pontiffs in Rome. When the
Constantine left Rome he gave his seat to the Pontiff."
The decree written in 533 did not become effective until 538
A.D. with the defeat of the last of the Arian powers that ruled much of the
western remnants of the empire.
Daniel 8:12: And an host was
given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast
down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered."
or
Daniel 8:12 "And Gods people was given to Rome for the continual rebellion against God, and Rome cast down the
truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered."
The power of the priest is equal to
that of Jesus Christ. For in this role
the priest speaks with the voice and authority of God Himself... When the
priest pronounces the words of consecration he reaches up into the heavens,
brings Christ down from His throne, and places Him upon our altar to be offered
up again as the Victim for the sins of man... not once, but a thousand times!
the priest speaks and lo! Christ, the eternal and omnipotent God bows his head
in humble obedience to the priest's command."
1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is
one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus".
The title Priest indicates a mediator, a go-between, someone
who represents man to God.
Revelation 13:1 "and upon
his heads the name of blasphemy."
Revelation 13:5 "And there
was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies".
What is blasphemy?
Mark 2:7 Why doth this man thus
speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
1. A man that claims that they can forgive sins.
John 10:33 "The Jews
answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and
because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God."
2. A man that claims to be equal to God.
Daniel 5:23 "But hast lifted
up thyself against the LORD of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his
house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have
drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of
brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in
whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not
glorified:"
Daniel 5:30 "In that night
was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain."
3. Taking that which is holy to God and mixing it with pagan
worship.
Daniel 7:8 "I considered the
horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom
there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in
this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great
things."
Daniel 7:20 "And of the ten
horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom
three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great
things, whose look was more stout than his fellows."
Daniel 7:25 "And he shall
speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the
most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his
hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
II Thessalonians 2:4 "Who
opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is
worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself
that he is God."
The power of the priest, says St.
Bernardine of Sienna, is the power of the divine person for the
transubstantiation of the bread requires as much power as the creation of the
world. The power of the priest is equal
to that of Jesus Christ.
In a passage which is included in
the Roman Catholic Canon Law, or Corpus Juris Canonici, Pope Innocent III
declares that the Roman pontiff is "the vicegerent upon earth, not of a
mere man, but of very God;" and in a gloss on the passage it is
explained that this is because he is the vicegerent of Christ, who is
"very God and very man." See Decretales Domini Gregorii Papae IX
(Decretals of the Lord Pope Gregory IX), liber 1, de translatione Episcoporum,
(on the transference of Bishops), title 7, ch. 3; Corpus Juris Canonici (2d
Leipzig ed., 1881), col. 99; (Paris, 1612), tom. 2, Decretales, col. 205. The
documents which formed the Decretals were gathered by Gratian, who was teaching
at the University of Bologna about the year 1140. His work was added to and
re-edited by Pope Gregory IX in an edition issued in 1234. Other documents appeared
in succeeding years from time to time including the Extravagantes, added toward
the close of the fifteenth century. All of these, with Gratian's Decretum, were
published as the Corpus Juris Canonici in 1582.
Pope Pius X authorized the
codification in Canon law in 1904, and the resulting code became effective in
1918. For the title "Lord God the Pope" see a gloss on the
Extravagantes of Pope John XXII, title 14, ch. 4, Declaramus. In an Antwerp
edition of the Extravagantes, dated 1584, the words "Dominum Deum nostrum
Papam" ("Our Lord God the Pope") occur in column 153. In a Paris
edition, dated 1612, they occur in column 140. In several editions published
since 1612 the word "Deum" ("God") has been omitted.
Revelation 13:18 "Here is
wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count (or add up)
the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six
hundred threescore and six."

Revelation 17:6 "And I saw
the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the
martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration."
Revelation 18:24 "And in her
was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon
the earth."
It is estimated that 50 million Christians were martyred
during the Middle Ages.
Time and Times and half a Time - 538 - 1798
Daniel 4:32 "And they shall
drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field:
they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over
thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and
giveth it to whomsoever he will."
As seen in this verse that time means a year.
Time = 1 year or 360 days
Times = 2 years or 720 days
Half a Time = half of 360 = 180
360 + 720 + 180 = 1260
Daniel 7:24 "And the ten
horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall
rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue
three kings."
Daniel 7:25 "And he shall
speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the
most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his
hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
The ten horns are the kingdoms that came out of Rome, the
diverse one is when the Pope was given power to rule.
This was given into his hand for time and times and dividing
of time or 1260 days.
Revelations 13:5 "And there
was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was
given unto him to continue forty and two months."
This is the same time period, both scriptures are talking
about speaking blasphemies.
42 months.
In the Jewish calendar all months are 30 days long.
30 * 42 = 1260

Revelation 12:6 "And the
woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that
they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days."
1000 + 200 + threescore or 60 = 1260
The women here is God's People.
She fled from persecution during the Dark Ages.
Revelation 12:13 "And when
the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which
brought forth the man child."
Revelation 12:14 "And to the
woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the
wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and
half a time, from the face of the serpent."
Times, and times, and half a time.
In 1796 Napoleon sent a French general to Rome to take the
Pope prisoner. But strangely he did not accomplish his mission. He stayed down
there for a while, met no opposition later taking his armies all the way back
to France having done nothing.
Napoleon in 1798 sent the French General Berthier down to
the Vatican. He took the Pope prisoner and then there was no Pope.
Revelation 13:1 "And I stood
upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven
heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name
of blasphemy."
Revelation 13:2 "And the
beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a
bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power,
and his seat, and great authority."
Revelation 13:3 "And I saw
one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed:
and all the world wondered after the beast."
The beast that was Rome ruled by
the Pope ended just as the prophecy said.
The beast was wounded but says that
the deadly wound would be healed.
Revelation 13:11 "And I
beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a
lamb, and he spake as a dragon."
Revelation 13:12 "And he
exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth
and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was
healed."
The second beast could be a
different kingdom but will exercise the same power or laws as the first beast
did..
Revelation 13:16 "And he
causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a
mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:"
Revelation 13:17 "And that no man might buy or sell,
save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his
name."
You will know the beast when you
are told to receive the mark in order to buy or sell.
U.S.A In Prophecy – Sometime
around 1798
Revelation 13:11 "And I
beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns
like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."
Water symbolizes multitudes of people right?
Revelation 17:15 "And he
saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are
peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues."
Water on the earth covers most of our world.
If water is symbolizing many people.
Then does this mean the earth is opposite of water.
Meaning the earth is a small number of people?
Around 1798 what land was
settled in that had only a small number of people?
Italian Cristoforo Colombo , Spanish Cristóbal
Colón master navigator and admiral whose four transatlantic voyages
(1492–93, 1493–96, 1498–1500, and 1502–04) opened the way for European
exploration, exploitation, and colonization of the Americas. He has long been called
the “discoverer” of the New World, although Vikings such as Leif Eriksson had
visited North America five centuries earlier. Columbus made his transatlantic voyages under the sponsorship of
Ferdinand II and Isabella I , the Catholic Monarchs of Aragon, Castile, and
Leon in Spain. He was at first full of hope and ambition, an ambition partly
gratified by his title “Admiral of the Ocean Sea,” awarded to him in April
1492, and by the grants enrolled in the Book of Privileges (a record of his
titles and claims); however, he died a disappointed man.
Just about the time of
1798 people flock to America and establishes a Godly country.
Revelation 13:11 "And I
beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a
lamb, and he spake as a dragon."
God has blessed America for its Godly beliefs.
Thank God for this country.
We do our best to represent the lamb.
Revelation 13:11 "And I
beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a
lamb, and he spake as a dragon."
We will turn though.
Revelation 13:12 "And he
exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth
and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was
healed."
What was wounded in 1798.
The church lost its relgious political power.
Sometime in the future Church and State must unite and force
religious beliefs on the people.
Matthew 3:11 "I indeed
baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier
than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy
Ghost, and with fire"
Acts 2:1 "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place." Acts 2:2 "And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."
Acts 2:3 "And there appeared
unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them."
Acts 2:4 "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."
Earthly Sanctuary.
Leviticus 4:1 "And the LORD
spake unto Moses, saying,"
Leviticus 4:2 "Speak unto
the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against
any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be
done, and shall do against any of them:"
What is sin?
1 John 3:4 "Whosoever
committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the
law."
The Ten commandments were kept in the sanctuary in the ark of
the covenant.
Leviticus 4:3 "If the priest
that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring
for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the
LORD for a sin offering."
Leviticus 4:4 "And he shall
bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before
the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock
before the LORD."
Tabernacle has three parts:
Outer Court.
Holy Place.
Most Holy Place.
Leviticus 4:5 "And the
priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the
tabernacle of the congregation:"
Leviticus 4:6 "And the
priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times
before the LORD, before the vail of the sanctuary."
Leviticus 4:7 "And the
priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense
before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation: and shall pour
all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering,
which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation."
Sin is first transferred on to bullock.
Second it is transferred into the holy place on the altar of incense.
This was done once a day, known as "daily".
Alter of Incense
Exodus 25:22 "And there I
will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat,
from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all
things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel."
Leviticus 16:2 "And the LORD
said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times
into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the
ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat."
God puts mercy over his commandments.
Even though we sin God has mercy to forgive us.
Leviticus 16:3 "Thus shall
Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a
ram for a burnt offering."
Leviticus 16:6 "And Aaron
shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an
atonement for himself, and for his house."
Leviticus 16:11 "And Aaron
shall bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall
make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of
the sin offering which is for himself:"
The bullock was for his sins.
Leviticus 16:5 "And he shall
take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a
sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering."
Two goats and one ram.
Leviticus 16:7 "And he shall
take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the
tabernacle of the congregation."
Leviticus 16:8 "And Aaron
shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for
the scapegoat."
One goat is for the Lord.
One goat is for the scapegoat.
The actual meaning for the word is of two parts. First part
means goat and the second part means "gone" or "to go
away".
Leviticus 16:9 "And Aaron
shall bring the goat upon which the LORD's lot fell, and offer him for a sin
offering."
Leviticus 16:15 "Then shall
he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his
blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the
bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:"
Leviticus 16:16 "And he
shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the
children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and
so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among
them in the midst of their uncleanness."
The Lords Goat was to be sacrificed for all the sins.
Only by accepting Jesus can are sins be forgiven.
2 Corinthians 5:21 "For he
hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him."
Jesus lived a perfect life for us and by accepting him we
become clean while Jesus bares our sins.
Leviticus 16:16 "And he
shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the
children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and
so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among
them in the midst of their uncleanness."
Leviticus 16:17 "And there
shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make
an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement
for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of
Israel."
Leviticus 16:18 "And he
shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for
it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat,
and put it upon the horns of the altar round about."
He takes:
First all the daily sins that were transferred into the holy
place on the alter of incense.
Second his (the priests) sins from the bullock.
Third the sins of everyone else from the goat.
Leviticus 16:12 And he shall take
a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and
his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:
Leviticus 16:13 And he shall put
the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may
cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:
All year long the sins have been transferred into the Holy
Place.
But once a year the sanctuary gets cleansed.
Leviticus 16:10 "But the
goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before
the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into
the wilderness."
Leviticus 16:20 "And when he
hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the
congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:"
They live goat only comes in once the reconciliation is
complete.
Leviticus 16:21 "And Aaron
shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him
all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all
their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by
the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
Leviticus 16:22 "And the
goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he
shall let go the goat in the wilderness."
In the end the scapegoat is the one left with all the sin.
Another word for scapegoat used in other versions of the
Bible is Aza'zel.
Same scripture but using the Revised Standard Bible.
Leviticus 16:8 "and Aaron
shall cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for the LORD and the other lot for
Aza'zel."
Aza'zel was another name used for Satan.
Here is a scripture out of a book that was not included into
the Bible.
This was written around the same time as the scriptures we
are looking at.
I'm know nothing about this book, just want to point out that the same name is representing the Devil around the same time period.
1 Enoch 9:6 "Thou seest what
Azazel hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the
eternal secrets which were (preserved) in heaven which men were striving to
learn:"
1 Enoch 10:8 "And the
whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel: to
him ascribe all sin.'
Is there any proof that writings from this book are old?
Jude 1:14 "And Enoch also,
the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh
with ten thousands of his saints,"
Is Satan the scapegoat?
Could the Devil be sent into a wilderness?
Revelation 20:1 "And I saw
an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a
great chain in his hand."
Revelation 20:2 "And he laid
hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound
him a thousand years,"
The Devil is sent to the bottomless pit for 1000 years.
Heavenly Sanctuary.
Daniel 8:14 "And he said
unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be
cleansed."
What did the sanctuary mean to Daniel?
Exodus 25:8 "And let them
make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them."
The place where God dwells.
Exodus 25:9 "According to
all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of
all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it."
Exodus 25:40 "And look that
thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount."
Did the pattern refer to another sanctuary?
Hebrews 8:1 "Now of the
things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who
is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;"
Hebrews 8:2 "A minister of
the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not
man."
There is two sanctuaries, one of mans and one of Gods.
Hebrews 8:3 "For every high
priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity
that this man have somewhat also to offer."
Hebrews 8:4 "For if he were
on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer
gifts according to the law:"
Hebrews 8:5 "Who serve unto
the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when
he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all
things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount."
The sanctuary Moses built is a example of a heavenly
sanctuary.
Hebrews 8:1 "Now of the
things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who
is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;"
Hebrews 8:2 "A minister of the
sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not
man."
Hebrews 4:14 "Seeing then
that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the
Son of God, let us hold fast our profession."
Who is the High Priest in Heaven?
Jesus.
Who is the High Priest here on earth?
Jesus is, he came and died for us, now we go straight to
Jesus.
Revelation 1:5 "And from
Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead,
and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us
from our sins in his own blood,"
Revelation 1:6 "And hath
made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion
for ever and ever. Amen."
Who is the Priest's here on earth?
We are the priests.
1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is
one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"
Between us and God how many do we go through?
Who is it?
John 1:29 "The next day John
seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh
away the sin of the world."
Hebrews 9:26 "For then must
he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the
end of the world hath he appeared t` put away sin by the sacrifice of
himself."
The lambs that were sacrificed always pointed to Jesus death
on the cross.
Revelation 8:3 "And another
angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given
unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints
upon the golden altar which was before the throne."
Revelation 8:4 "And the
smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up
before God out of the angel's hand."
The altar of incense shown in heaven.
The only way we can get to heaven is by Christ’s perfect
life.
Hebrews 9:24 "For Christ is
not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the
true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for
us:"
Here is the holy place in heaven.
Jesus is the High Priest to appear before God for us.
The most holy place:
1. Where God dwells.
2. Where the law of God is.
The outer courtyard:
Where the people that sinned that brought their sacrifices.
What stood between them?
The Holy Place:
Between the Most Holy Place and the Outer Courtyard who
stood in between?
Jesus.
Romans 5:10 "For if, when we
were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more,
being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."
Death of the Son.
Saved by his life.
Jesus’ perfect life.
John 16:8 "And when he is
come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of
judgment:"
John 16:9 "Of sin, because
they believe not on me;"
John 16:10 "Of
righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;"
John 16:11 "Of judgment,
because the prince of this world is judged."
Sin - Outer court
Righteousness - Holy Place.
Judgment - Most Holy Place.
Who was judged?
Satan is judged.
What was the last thing to happen at the Sanctuary.
Sin were transferred onto the scapegoat to be led in the
wilderness.
Daniel 8:14 "And he said
unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be
cleansed."
When the sanctuary is cleansed what starts?
Judgment starts.
Daniel 8:26 "And the vision
of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up
the vision; for it shall be for many days."
Daniel 8:27 "And I Daniel
fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's
business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it."
Daniel eight ends with Daniel not understanding the vision.
When does the vision start?
Judgment
John 16:8 "And when he is
come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of
judgment:"
John 16:9 "Of sin, because
they believe not on me;"
John 16:10 "Of
righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;"
John 16:11 "Of judgment,
because the prince of this world is judged."
Sin - Outer court
Righteousness - Holy Place.
Judgment - Most Holy Place.
Who was judged?
Satan is judged.
Daniel 8:14 "And he said
unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be
cleansed."
We learned that there is a sanctuary in heaven.
At the end of the cleansing the scapegoat now the Devil
would be sent into the wilderness.
Revelation 20:1 "And I saw
an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a
great chain in his hand."
Revelation 20:2 "And he laid
hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound
him a thousand years,"
Revelation 20:3 "And cast
him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he
should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be
fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."
The Devil is sent to the bottomless pit (representing the
wilderness) for 1000 years.
Daniel 8:14 "And he said
unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be
cleansed."
What part was cleansed?
The Most Holy place.
When did Jesus go into the most holy place?
Sometime after he died on the cross.
Could the day you came to sacrifice for your sins, be the
same day the sanctuary was cleansed?
Grace is still given even though the cleansing of the
sanctuary (Judgment) has started.
Has Judgment started already?
Daniel 8:14 "And he said
unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be
cleansed."
When does it happen?
We know it starts sometime after the 2300 days.
When did this time period start?
Daniel 8:16 "And I heard a
man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make
this man to understand the vision.
Daniel 8:17 "So he came near
where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he
said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the
vision."
Gabriel comes to tell Daniel the meaning of the dream.
Gabriel explains the dream until he gets down to the next
two verses.
Daniel faints still not understanding the time.
None understood his dream.
Daniel 9:20 "And whiles I
was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people
Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy
mountain of my God;"
Daniel 9:21 "Yea, whiles I
was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at
the beginning,"
While Daniel is deep in prayer the angel Gabriel comes again
to him.
The same one who he saw the last time.
Daniel 9:21 "touched me
about the time of the evening oblation."
Daniel 9:22 "And he informed
me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee
skill and understanding.
Daniel 9:23 "At the
beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to
shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and
consider the vision."
What has he come to say.
About the time of his vision.
The angel Gabriel came to give Daniel understanding for the
time of his vision.
So when did the time period start?
Daniel 9:25 "Know therefore
and understand, that from the goin forth of the commandment to restore to build Jerusalem"
He lets Daniel know what the starting time is to use to
figure out his vision and gives Daniel one of the greatest time prophecy's ever
told. The exact time of the coming of the Messiah.
This happened at 457 BC.
The years till the
Judgment---------------------------------> 2300
The Decree to rebuild Jerusalem is

Add one more year because

was no Zero in between BC and AD.
1844 AD
Judgment should start somewhere around 1844.
Daniel 7:9 "I beheld till
the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was
white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like
the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire."
Daniel 7:10 "A fiery stream issued
and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten
thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the
books were opened."
Daniel 7:22 "Until the
Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High;
and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom."
Judgment in favor of the saints.
Daniel 7:25 "And he shall
speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most
High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand
until a time and times and the dividing of time."
As we already know in 1798 the Pope lost his power ending
this time period.
So sometime after this, Judgment is going to start.
Daniel 7:26 "But the
judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to
destroy it unto the end."
Judgment against the little horn.
Daniel 7:27 "And the kingdom
and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be
given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an
everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him."
What is the next thing he saw in Daniel 7?
Judgment.
Daniel 8:14 "And he said
unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be
cleansed."
What is the next thing he saw in Daniel 8?
Judgment.
First Judgment - 1844 (Who's It For)
Daniel 7:26 "But the
judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to
destroy it unto the end."
Judgment is against the little horn or the beast.
John 16:8 "And when he is
come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of
judgment:"
John 16:9 "Of sin, because
they believe not on me;"
John 16:10 "Of righteousness,
because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;"
John 16:11 "Of judgment,
because the prince of this world is judged."
Judgment is also against Satan himself.
Daniel 7:22 "Until the
Ancient of dayas came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High;
and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom."
The Judgment is in favor of the saints.
Revelation 14:6 "And I saw
another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to
preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and
tongue, and people,"
Revelation 14:7 "Saying with
a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is
come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the
fountains of waters."
The gospel will spread.
Judgment is come. Is come that means it is going on now. In
1844 the Judgment started.
So why is judging going on now, doesn't God know who is
going to make it?
Revelation 14:7 "for the
hour of his judgment is come"
This judgment is also about God, to
let the angles know why we should be allowed in heaven.
Daniel 7:22 "Until the
Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High;
and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom."
The judging will be in our favor.
Until the time comes when we will enter into heaven.
1 John 2:1 "My little
children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin,
we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
What is a advocate?
A lawyer.
So who is your lawyer?
Jesus is?
John 5:22 "For the Father
judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son"
Who is the Judge?
Jesus is.
The judgment is rigged in our favor.
John 12:47 "And if any man
hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the
world, but to save the world."
Don't you want Jesus to be your Judge?
1 John 5:11 "And this is the
record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his
Son."
1 John 5:12 "He that hath
the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."
1 John 5:13 "These things
have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may
know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son
of God."
Believe in Jesus and the judgment will be in your favor.
The Mark
Revelation 13:16 "And he
causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a
mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:"
Revelation 13:17 "And that
no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast,
or the number of his name."
Revelation 14:9 "And the
third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the
beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his
hand,"
The mark of the beast.
Revelation 7:3 "Say, Hurt
not the earth neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants
of our God in their foreheads."
Revelation 14:1 "And I
looked, and lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion and with him an hundred forty
and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads".
Revelation 22:4 "And they
shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads."
God also has a mark.
Deuteronomy 6:5 "And thou
shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and
with all thy might."
Deuteronomy 6:8 "And thou
shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as
frontlets between thine eyes."
Exodus 13:9 "And it shall be
for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between
thine eyes, that the LORD's law may be in thy mouth: for with a
strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt."
This shows that God's mark is his laws
not a number that is put on your hand or forehead but those who keep God's
Laws.
Matthew 15:4 "For God
commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or
mother, let him die the death."
Matthew 15:5 "But ye say,
Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever
thou mightest be profited by me;"
Matthew 15:6 "And honour not
his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment
of God of none effect by your tradition."
Matthew 15:9 "But in vain
they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
The people were putting in offering
to God to make them look good before helping there parents.
They were following traditions of
man and not the commandments of God.
II Thessalonians 2:3 "Let no
man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a
falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition;"
There is a falling away.
Exodus 31:13 "Speak thou
also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for
it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know
that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you."
Exodus 31:14 "Ye shall keep
the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it
shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul
shall be cut off from among his people."
Exodus 31:15 "Six days may
work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD:
whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to
death."
Exodus 31:16 "Wherefore the
children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout
their generations, for a perpetual covenant."
Exodus 31:17 "It is a sign
between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD
made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was
refreshed."
Exodus 31:18 "And he gave
unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two
tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God."
The Devil will come after the
commandments of God. The Ten Commandments are being posted back on the school
walls. The catholic church changed the
day from Saturday to Sunday. Even now is the Pope pushing for mandatory
national Sunday laws.
Revelation 12:17 "And the
dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant
of her seed, which keep the
commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. "
Revelation 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints:
here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
As seen in Revelation the devil
will come after the laws of God and those who have the testimony of Jesus.
The mark has not yet happened until
laws are made. But someday we will have
to choose which laws we wish to follow.
That of man or God.
1 John 2:3 "And hereby we do
know that we know him, if we keep his commandments."
1 John 2:4 "He that saith, I
know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in
him."
1 John 2:5 "But whoso
keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we
that we are in him."
1 John 2:6 "He that saith he
abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."
Signs Of The Times
Matthew 16:3 "And in the
morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye
hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the
signs of the times?"
Should we be interested in the signs of the times?
Matthew 24:1 "And Jesus went
out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew
him the buildings of the temple."
Matthew 24:2 "And Jesus said
unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not
be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."
Matthew 24:3 "And as he sat
upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell
us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and
of the end of the world?"
They were curious of what the end would be long ago.
Matthew 24:4 "And Jesus
answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you."
Matthew 24:5 "For many shall
come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. "
Matthew 24:6 "And ye shall
hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these
things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."
Jesus did not scold them for asking but goes on and talks of
some of the signs of the end.
Matthew 24:7 "For nation
shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be
famines, and pestilence's, and earthquakes, in divers places."
What signs will there be?
1. War.
2. Famines.
3. Pestilence.
4. Earthquakes.
Matthew 24:8 "All these are
the beginning of sorrows."
Matthew 24:9 "Then shall
they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated
of all nations for my name's sake."
5. Christians will be hated.
Matthew 24:10 "And then
shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one
another."
6. Hatred.
Matthew 24:11 "And many
false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many."
7. False prophets.
Matthew 24:12 "And because
iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."
Matthew 24:13 "But he that
shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
Matthew 24:14 "And this
gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come."
8. The Gospel will be preached to all the nations.
Daniel 12:4 "But thou, O
Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many
shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."
9. Knowledge will be increased.
Luke 21:11 "And great
earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilence's; and
fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven."
10. Fearful signs from heaven.
2 Timothy 3:1 "This know
also, that in the last days perilous times shall come."
2 Timothy 3:2 "For men shall
be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,"
2 Timothy 3:3 "Without
natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce,
despisers of those that are good,"
2 Timothy 3:4 "Traitors,
heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;"
2 Timothy 3:5 "Having a form
of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
What will the people be like?
1. Lovers of themselves.
2. Covetous.
3. Boasters.
4. Proud.
5. Blasphemers.
6. Disobedient to parents.
7. Unthankful.
8. Unholy.
9. No affection.
10. Liars.
11. False accusers.
12. Incontinent.
13. Fierce.
14. Despisers of good.
15. Traitors.
16. Heady.
17. Highminded.
18. Lovers of pleasure.
19. Denying God.
Luke 21:25 "And there shall
be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth
distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;"
Men will be able to tell the world is falling apart by
nature itself.
Luke 21:26 "Men's hearts
failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on
the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."
Heart attacks, seldom heard of in the early 1900s, are now
the number-one killer.
1 Timothy 4:1 "Now the
Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the
faith giving heed to seducing spirits,
and doctrines of devils;"
1 Timothy 4:2 "peaking lies
in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;"
Beware of false doctrines.
The Devil is after God's church and will lead many away from
God.
1 Timothy 4:16 "Take heed
unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou
shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee."
Know the word of God.
2 Peter 3:3 "Knowing this
first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own
lusts,"
2 Peter 3:4 "And saying,
Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all
things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."
2 Peter 3:5 "For this they
willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and
the earth standing out of the water and in the water:"
Will everyone believe these signs?
Matthew 24:14 "And this
gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come."
Some may disbelieve but everyone will hear.
Some Statistics taken from a bible
page.
1. The homicide rate among young
American males is 20 times more than that of Western Europe and 40 times the
Japanese rate.
2. Young males in Harlem, New York
are less likely to survive to the age of 40 than are their counterparts in
Bangladesh.
3. Over 40 billion aspirin are
consumed in the United States alone each year as people try to deal with the
headaches of life!
4. Eighty six thousand pounds of
Marijuana are smoked each day in America and countless other drugs as people
try to escape the reality of living in this world.
5. We have the continued threat of
nuclear warfare. There are now 50,000 bombs that leave the material things
alone, but kill all human life. We live in an age when men are perfecting ways
to die!

sexually abused as a child and one in six Americans has been physically abused
as a child.

that we give to gamblers is more than all those put together.
18. Ours is the most civilized,
the most Christianized nation on earth, yet 37 million of our own children
receive absolutely no religious instruction.
19. We see around us wars and
strife. the world's nations are in constant battle with no end in sight. TV and
media daily show the horrors of war all around us. America is spending billions
of dollars each year on arms and defense, and we now have seen two world wars.
The United Nations recently held 81 sessions in 18 months to resolve the
problems of war and not one single problem was settled. Never have these words
of Jesus been so fulfilled as today.
20. Famine is a fact. Bangladesh, a country the size of Florida, has
over 100,000,000 people in it and no food. India has 638 million, 618 million
are malnourished, and starving. Ninety percent of earth's nations produce less
food than it takes to feed themselves.
21. There have been more
earthquakes in the last 15 years than in the previous 50 years. All in diverse
places of the earth. From California, Guatemala, Alaska, Turkey, China, and
Russia, with increasing frequency we hear of another on somewhere on earth.
Never has it been like this before in earth's history."
22. Crime is climbing fast. In
1960 there were 3,400,000 major crimes committed in the United States each

AIDS. Millions of others see themselves as being at very high risk for AIDS.
The majority of those people, both those who are certain and those who believe
that they are at high risk, are heterosexuals.

in divorce. In 1918 the national average was one in every thirty three.
Recently in Tulsa, Oklahoma there were more divorce applications than marriage
applications.
31. You can get 150,000 people pay

doing you a favor when they come to a heated building with padded chairs to
hear the Word of God for FREE!
32. Americans spend 36 billion
dollars a year on alcohol! That's over $1,000 per second all year! Thirty-three
gallons per person per year!
33. Recent statistics documented
that in 70 years we have come farther in technical knowledge than in the
previous 5,000 years! In your lifetime we now have computers, television,
telecommunications, and airplanes. The Concord, in two hours, flies between
America and Europe. The space shuttle now travels at 25,000 miles per hour.
34. Newsweek called population
explosion "The World's Greatest Problem," It took 5,000 years to get
the first billion people on earth. It took only 100 years for the second
billion, 35 years to get the third billion and only 15 years to get the fourth
billion. At the current growth rate, by the year 2020 there will be an
estimated 16 billion people on earth! Earth is not big enough to sustain more
than 7 billion and we will be there soon!
35. Scientists say it will be
impossible to feed everyone by 2020.
36. Forty million people in Latin
America can't use their water due to pollution and it has to be shipped in
daily. Our water in most major cities comes from sewer pipes, where, after
careful treatment it is piped back into the homes. We have acid rain, smog,
oil spills, hazardous waste, and
hundreds of other problems too great for man to take care of!
2 Timothy 3:5 "Having a form
of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
A recent poll of Protestant
clergymen conducted by sociologist Jeffrey Hadden revealed the following.

power in the world today?
Sixty-two percent of Methodists

Thirty-seven percent of
Episcopalians said, "No."
Forty-seven percent of
Presbyterians said, "No."
Thirty-three percent of Baptists
said, "No."
Fourteen percent of American
Lutheran said, "No."
Nine percent of Missouri Synod
Lutherans said, "No."
4. Do you believe that the
Scripture are inspired and inerrant Word of God in faith, history, and secular
matters?
Eighty-seven percent of Methodists
said, "No."
Ninety-five percent of
Episcopalians said, "No."
Eighty-two percent of
Presbyterians said, "No."
Sixty-seven percent of American
Baptists said, "No."
Twenty-four percent of Missouri
Synod Lutherans said, "No."
Matthew 24:37 "But as the
days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
What was it like in the days of Noah?
Genesis 6:5 "And GOD saw
that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination
of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
Genesis 6:6 "And it repented
the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his
heart."
Genesis 6:7 "And the LORD
said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both
man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it
repenteth me that I have made them."
There was much sin on the earth then.
Are people now dwelling in the wickedness as it was then?
Matthew 24:38 "For as in the
days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying
and giving in marriage, until the day
that Noe entered into the ark,"
Matthew 24:39 "And knew not
until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be."
The people in the days of Noah had many years and signs to
decide if they would go with Noah into the ark.
God is giving us our signs.
Noah and his family, eight people in all were the only ones
that were saved before.
How many will be ready when Jesus comes and the world comes
to an end this time?
The day is at hand.
How much longer can the world go on like this.
Matthew 24:32 "Now learn a
parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth
leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:"
Matthew 24:33 "So likewise
ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the
doors."
We can know the time is at hand by the signs of the season.
Matthew 24:34 "Verily I say
unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be
fulfilled."
Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and
earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."
Matthew 24:36 "But of that
day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father
only."
But no one knows the day or hour he comes.
Matthew 24:43 "But know
this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would
come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken
up."
Matthew 24:44 "Therefore be
ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."
We need to be ready so the day does not come to us like a
thief in the night.
John 14:1 "Let not your
heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."
John 14:2 "In my Father's
house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to
prepare a place for you."
John 14:3 "And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also."
Jesus lets us know that even by all these signs we can have
peace.
Luke 21:27 "And then shall
they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."
Soon after all these signs Jesus will come again.
Isaiah 25:9 "And it shall be
said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save
us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in
his salvation."
Praise God that this world will not continue on, but will be
made new and we can be with the Lord in Heaven.
Babylon is Fallen
1 Kings 17:1 "And Elijah the
Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God
of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these
years, but according to my word."
Elijah says plainly that there will
be no dew or rain for the next few years.
They probably laughed at those
words.
1 Kings 17:7 "And it came to
pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in
the land."
1 Kings 18:16 "So Obadiah
went to meet Ahab, and told him: and Ahab went to meet Elijah."
1 Kings 18:17 "And it came
to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that
troubleth Israel?"
Ahab himself goes out on his horses
to meet with Elijah.
Is that you, you troubling of
Israel?
1 Kings 18:18 "And he answered,
I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have
forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim."
Elijah points the finger back and
says it was because of him.
Because they turned on the
commandments of the Lord and followed there own ways.
1 Kings 18:19 "Now therefore
send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal
four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat
at Jezebel's table."
He tells the prophets to come to
meet him.
1 Kings 18:20 "So Ahab sent
unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount
Carmel."
1 Kings 18:21 "And Elijah
came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if
the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people
answered him not a word."
Pick which one you will follow but
don't have opinions.
Choose to follow God and all his
commandments or choose man laws and follow him.
Stop claiming you are following the
Lord while your following Baal.
1 Kings 18:22 "Then said
Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but
Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men."
Elijah had to stand up against all
the and Prophets, the highest people and the land.
1 Kings 18:23 "Let them
therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves,
and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will
dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:"
1 Kings 18:24 "And call ye on the name of your gods,
and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire,
let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken."
1 Kings 18:25 "And Elijah said
unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it
first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire
under."
1 Kings 18:26 "And they took
the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name
of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no
voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was
made."
1 Kings 18:27 "And it came
to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god;
either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure
he sleepeth, and must be awaked."
Elijah appears to be making fun of
the situation.
1 Kings 18:28 "And they
cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets,
till the blood gushed out upon them."
1 Kings 18:29 "And it came
to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the
offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to
answer, nor any that regarded.
1 Kings 18:30 "And Elijah
said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto
him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down."
Elijah said finally that’s enough.
1 Kings 18:31 "And Elijah took
twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto
whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:"
1 Kings 18:32 "And with the
stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about
the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed."
1 Kings 18:33 "And he put
the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and
said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on
the wood."
1 Kings 18:34 "And he said,
Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the
third time. And they did it the third time."
1 Kings 18:35 "And the water
ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water."
1 Kings 18:36 "And it came
to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the
prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it
be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and
that I have done all these things at thy word."
1 Kings 18:37 "Hear me, O
LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that
thou hast turned their heart back again."
He gave all power to God.
1 Kings 18:38 "Then the fire
of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the
stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench."
1 Kings 18:39 "And when all
the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the
God; the LORD, he is the God."
1 Kings 18:40 "And Elijah
said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they
took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them
there."
The end will be much like this.
There will be a spiritual battle.
1 Kings 18:45 "And it came
to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and
there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel."
1 Kings 18:46 "And the hand
of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to
the entrance of Jezreel."
Elijah was the for runner for Ahab.
Malachi 4:4 "Remember ye the
law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel,
with the statutes and judgments."
The last prophet of the old
testament says remember the law of Moses.
We tend to forget laws.
Such as Remember the Sabbath.
Malachi 4:5 "Behold, I will
send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of
the LORD:"
Elijah will be the forerunner for
the last days on Earth.
But Elijah will also be here one
more time?
Matthew 17:10 "And his
disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first
come?"
They knew the prophesy and wondered
why.
Matthew 17:11 "And Jesus
answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all
things."
He will come and will restore.
Matthew 17:12 "But I say
unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto
him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of
them."
But he has already come.
So who was it?
Matthew 17:13 "Then the
disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist."
They understood that it isn't
really Elijah.
John 1:23
"He said, I am the voice of one crying
in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet
Esaias."
It is the message of Elijah that is
to come not him physically.
Luke 3:3 "And he came into
all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the
remission of sins;"
Luke 3:4 "As it is written
in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying
in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths
straight."
Luke 3:5 "Every valley shall
be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked
shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;"
Luke 3:6 "And all flesh
shall see the salvation of God."
Again it is the message not the
man.
Luke 3:7 "Then said he to
the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers,
who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?"
His message was.
You generation of vipers.
You just want to be baptized so you
won't have the wrath that is to come.
Luke 3:8 "Bring forth
therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves,
We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these
stones to raise up children unto Abraham."
Repent of your sins and show the
fruits of God.
Luke 3:9 "And now also the
axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not
forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire."
If what you are doing or have is
not bringing good fruit then cut if off from you and cast it away.
Luke 3:10 "And the people
asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
Luke 3:11 "He answereth and
saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none;
and he that hath meat, let him do likewise."
Don't Covet.
Luke 3:12 "Then came also
publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?"
Luke 3:13 "And he said unto
them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you."
Don't Steal
Luke 3:14 "And the soldiers
likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them,
Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your
wages."
Do not kill
Do not Bare False Witness
Be content with what you have.
Do not Covet.
Luke 3:19 "But Herod the
tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for
all the evils which Herod had done,"
He even said to Herod.
Do not commit adultery.
Matthew 17:11 "And Jesus
answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all
things."
We need to be looking for another
message preparing the way before the return of Jesus.
Malachi 4:4 "Remember ye the
law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel,
with the statutes and judgments."
Revelation 14:12: "Here is
the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God,
and the faith of Jesus."
The message is also of the three
angels is in Revelation 14.
Keep Gods commandments and have the
testimony of Jesus.
Revelation 14:6 "And I saw
another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to
preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and
tongue, and people,"
1 Kings 18:21 "And Elijah
came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if
the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people
answered him not a word.
The Elijah message.
Choose who your going to serve.
Revelation 14:8 And there
followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city,
because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
What is Babylon?
Daniel 1:1 "In the third
year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of
Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it."
Two cities.
Jerusalem and Babylon.
Daniel 1:2 "And the Lord
gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the
house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god;
and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god."
He took God's vessels or cups and
took them to Babylon.
These vessels were to be used only
to worship God.
They were holy vessels of God.
Daniel 5:1 "Belshazzar the
king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the
thousand."
Daniel 5:2 "Belshazzar,
whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels
which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in
Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might
drink therein."
Daniel 5:3 "Then they
brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of
God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his
concubines, drank in them."
Daniel 5:4 "They drank wine,
and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of
stone."
God blessed the vessels.
God made them holy.
To be used only to worship him.
Man took the cups and used it to worship
there own gods.
Trampling on the things God made
holy.
Daniel 5:5 "In the same hour
came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon
the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the
hand that wrote."
Daniel 5:6 "Then the king's
countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of
his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another."
Daniel 5:7 "The king cried
aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. And the
king spake, and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this
writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet,
and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the
kingdom."
Daniel 5:8 "Then came in all
the king's wise men: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the
king the interpretation thereof."
Daniel 5:9 "Then was king
Belshazzar greatly troubled, and his countenance was changed in him, and his
lords were astonied."
Daniel 5:10 "Now the queen,
by reason of the words of the king and his lords, came into the banquet house:
and the queen spake and said, O king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts
trouble thee, nor let thy countenance be changed:"
Daniel 5:11 "There is a man
in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy
father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was
found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy
father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and
soothsayers;"
Daniel 5:12 "Forasmuch as an
excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and
shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same
Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will
shew the interpretation."
Daniel 5:13 "Then was Daniel
brought in before the king. And the king spake and said unto Daniel, Art thou
that Daniel, which art of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king
my father brought out of Jewry?"
Daniel 5:14 "I have even
heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and
understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee."
Daniel 5:15 "And now the
wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should
read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they
could not shew the interpretation of the thing:"
Daniel 5:16 "And I have
heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now
if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation
thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy
neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom."
Daniel 5:17 "Then Daniel
answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy
rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known
to him the interpretation.
Daniel 5:18 "O thou king,
the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and
glory, and honour:"
God put Nebuchadnezzar on the
thrown.
Daniel 5:19 "And for the
majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and
feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and
whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down."
Daniel 5:20 "But when his
heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his
kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:"
Daniel 5:21 "And he was
driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his
dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his
body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled
in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will."
Daniel 5:22 "And thou his
son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all
this;"
Belshazzar knew all this but his
heart was not changed.
Daniel 5:23 "But hast lifted
up thyself against the LORD of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his
house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have
drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of
brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in
whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not
glorified:"
He did not glorify the one who made
him.
He trampled on the things God said
was holy.
Did he do it out of not knowing?
No, It's says he knew all this.
Daniel 5:24 "Then was the
part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written."
Daniel 5:25 "And this is the
writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN."
Daniel 5:26 "This is the interpretation
of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it."
God has brought his kingdom to an
end.
Daniel 5:27 "TEKEL; Thou art
weighed in the balances, and art found wanting."
After a certain amount of time,
Judgment comes.
Daniel 5:28 "PERES; Thy
kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians."
Babylon has Fallen.
Daniel 5:29 "Then commanded
Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about
his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third
ruler in the kingdom."
Daniel 5:30 "In that night
was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain."
Daniel 5:31 "And Darius the
Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old."
Babylon is of the sinners.
Jerusalem is of the saints.
Revelation 17:1 "And there
came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me,
saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great
whore that sitteth upon many waters:"
Revelation 17:15 "And he
saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are
peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues."
Waters are the people.
Revelation 17:18 "And the
woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of
the earth."
The woman is a great city?
Revelation 17:5 "And upon
her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF
HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
The name of the women is Babylon.
The waters are multitudes of people
who support Babylon.
Judges 2:17 "And yet they
would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods,
and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their
fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not
so."
The people turned away going after
other gods, disobeying the commandments of God.
They were whore's because they were
unfaithful to God.
Revelation 17:4 "And the
woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and
precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of
abominations and filthiness of her fornication:"
Revelation 17:5 "And upon
her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF
HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
The First Beast was the unfaithful
to Gods commandments, now at the end there will be a new church arising like
that of Babylon.
Revelation 17:2 "With whom
the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the
earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication."
The church will team up with the
Government or leaders of the earth and work together to make laws that will go
against God..
Revelation 17:4 "And the woman
was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious
stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and
filthiness of her fornication:"
Revelation 17:5 "And upon
her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF
HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
SDA believe.
First churches will merge.
Second protestant churches will
merge with Rome.
Churches will set aside their
doctrines and join together.
The day will come when laws will pass
that will trample on the commandments of God.
Revelation 18:1 "And after
these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and
the earth was lightened with his glory."
Revelation 18:2 "And he
cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is
fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul
spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird."
Revelation 18:3 "For all
nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings
of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the
earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies."
Revelation 18:4 "And I heard
another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not
partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
Come out of Babylon.
Keep all Gods commandments.
John 10:14 "I am the good
shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine."
John 10:15 "As the Father
knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the
sheep."
John 10:16 "And other sheep
I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear
my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."
John 10:17 "Therefore doth
my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it
again."
John 10:18 "No man taketh it
from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have
power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."
Be in the fold of Jesus.
1 Kings 18:21 "And Elijah
came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if
the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people
answered him not a word.
Choose your side.
Revelation 18:4 "And I heard
another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not
partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
Come out of Babylon
The Dragon and The
Lamb
Revelation 13:4 "And they
worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the
beast saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Who can make war with him?
Revelation 14:14 "And I
looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son
of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
Revelation 14:1 "And I
looked, and,, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty
and four thousand, haveing his Father's name written in their foreheads."
The Lamb can war with him.
Mount Sion -
Hebrews 12:22 "But ye are
come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly
Jerusalem, and to an innmerable company of angels,"
Hebrews 12:23 "To the
general assembly and church of the first born, which are written in heaven, and
to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,"
Hebrews 12:24 "And to Jesus
the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh
better thing than that of Abel".
Mount Sion is the New Jerusalem and
with him are the hundred forty and four thousand, that are the people of God.
Isaiah 2:2 "And it shall
come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house
shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above
the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it."
Isaiah 2:3 "And many people
shall go and say, Come ye and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the
house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk
in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord
from Jerusalem."
There will be a revival, the law
shall be preached.
Three Angles Messages . . . Physically, Mentally,
Spiritually.
First Angel
Revelation 14:15 "And
another angel come out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat
on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to
reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
Revelation 14:16 "And he
that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth and the earth was
reaped".
Revelation 14:6 "And I saw
another angel fly in the Midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to
preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred and
tongue, and people.
Angel in Hebrew means Messenger; the message is coming from
the church of God.
At the time of the end how far will the gospel go?
This shows that once every one has heard the gospel then
shall the harvest of God's people be ripe.
Revelation
14:7 "Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the
hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and
the sea, and the fountains of waters."
1. Fear God
2.Give Glory To Him
3. Worship Him
Why?
The judgment is come.
When did it come?
Will come?
Or
Is come?
Genesis
1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and
let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and
over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth."
Genesis
1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he
him; male and female created he them."
Genesis
3:1 "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the
LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not
eat of every tree of the garden?"
Genesis
3:2 "And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the
trees of the garden"
Genesis
3:3 "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God
hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye
die."
Genesis
3:4 "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die"
Genesis
3:5 "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes
shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."
Genesis
3:6 "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it
was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took
of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and
he did eat."
She already sinned when she lusted after the tree.
Good for food - Physically.
Pleasant to the eye - Spiritually.
Tree desired to make one wise - Mentally.
Matthew
4:1 "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted
of the devil."
Matthew
4:2 "And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward
an hungred."
Matthew
4:3 "And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God,
command that these stones be made bread."
Matthew
4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
Physically
Matthew
4:5 "Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a
pinnacle of the temple,"
Matthew
4:6 "And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for
it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their
hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a
stone."
Matthew
4:7 "Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the
Lord thy God."
Mentally
Matthew
4:8 "Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and
sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;"
Matthew
4:9 "And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt
fall down and worship me."
Matthew
4:10 "Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written,
Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."
Spiritually
Jesus has gained the victory in all points of our sinful
lives.
When he died for us he saved us from all our sins.
Revelation
14: 7 "Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the
hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and
the sea, and the fountains of waters."
Proverbs
1:7: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom
and instruction.
Fear God - Mentally
How do you glorify God?
1
Corinthians 10:31 "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye
do, do all to the glory of God."
Glorify God - Body
1
Corinthians 6:19 "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the
Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your
own?"
1
Corinthians 6:20 "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in
your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
Glorify God - Body and Spirit
The First Angel lets us know whom to worship.
WHORSIP THE CREATOR
Be restored in God Physically Mentally and Spiritually.
Second Angel
Revelation 14:17 "And
another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp
sickle."
Revelation 14:8 "And there
followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city,
because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication."
Who is Babylon?
Babylon is those who do not worship God.
The second angel warns us that Babylon is now fallen and sin
abounds everywhere.
Sets the stage for the third angel to follow.
This angel lets us know not to be in sin.
Third Angel
Revelation 14:18 "And
another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried
with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of
the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
Sin must also be ripe.
Revelation 14:19 "And the
angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth,
and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God"
Revelation 14:20 "And the
winepress was troden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress,
even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred
furlongs."
Revelation 14:9" And the
third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the
beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his
hand,"
Revelation 14:10 "The same
shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire
and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the
Lamb."
Revelation
14:11 "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and
they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and
whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."
This angel lets us know that the unsaved will receive a mark
and be destroyed.
Serve man and you will receive the winepress of the wrath of
God.
Revelation
14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the
commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
Have faith in Jesus and keep his commandments.
Revelation
14:7 "Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the
hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and
the sea, and the fountains of waters."
God sent us a message for the end of time on first who to
worship and second how.
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
The only way we can get salvation is to through Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"
We are saved by his grace and can do nothing to earn it.
Jeremiah
:13:23 "Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then
may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil."
Can we earn Salvation by doing everything right and good?
All of us sin. We cannot change ourselves to do what is
right.
We need to grow in Christ.
Philippians
4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are
honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever
things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any
virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Philippians
4:9 "Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard,
and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."
Jesus is our best example of how to live our lives, read and
study the Bible about all he would have us to do. This is the only was we will
grow and learn to live are lives the way he would want us to.
Is it a salvation issue to be eating the wrong food?
Is it a salvation issue to be watching the wrong program?
But could doing these ultimately lead you away from your
salvation?
God wants us to be ready when he returns.
He sends us a message to be restored Physically, Mentally,
and Spiritually.
First which will you serve?
Second how will you serve him?
Revelation
14:7 "Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the
hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and
the sea, and the fountains of waters."
Worship the Creator.
Rapture
John 14:1 "Let not your
heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."
John 14:2 "In my Father's house are many
mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for
you."
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be
also."
Jesus promised that he is preparing a place for you.
He will come back.
Math 24:5 "For many shall
come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."
Math 24:6 "And ye shall hear
of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things
must come to pass, but the end is not yet."
There will be many rumors and many will be deceived.
People will go after the wrong Jesus.
Matthew 24:23 "Then if any
man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not."
Matthew 24:24 "For there
shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and
wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very
elect."
Matthew 24:25 "Behold, I
have told you before."
Matthew 24:26 "Wherefore if
they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he
is in the secret chambers; believe it not."
If some one says that Jesus is anywhere doing miracles.
Don't believe it.
Don't Go.
Matthew 24:27 "For as the
lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also
the coming of the Son of man be."
The Lord is coming in the sky.
Can you see lightning?
Does anyone need to tell you that was lightning?
Matthew 24:28 "For
wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together."
Matthew 24:29 "Immediately after
the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not
give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the
heavens shall be shaken:"
Matthew 24:30 "And then
shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the
tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the
clouds of heaven with power and great glory."
Matthew 24:31 "And he shall
send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together
his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
You will see him coming in the clouds.
Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he
cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced
him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so,
Amen."
Every eye shall see him.
Even those that pierce him.
Everyone will mourn because of him.
Acts 1:9 "And when he had
spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received
him out of their sight."
How did he leave?
Taken right before their eyes.
Acts 1:10 "And while they
looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in
white apparel;"
Acts 1:11 "Which also said, Ye
men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is
taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him
go into heaven."
How did they see him go?
How will he come back?
1 Thessalonians 4:13 "But I
would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep,
that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."
1 Thessalonians 4:14 "For if
we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in
Jesus will God bring with him."
This is not quite.
The Lord himself shall descend with a shout with the voice
of the archangel.
You will hear the trumpet of God.
Does that sound quiet?
Those who are dead in Christ or asleep will be raised first.
Those who are alive and remain will be caught up together
with the ones that were asleep.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 "For God
hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus
Christ,"
1 Thessalonians 5:10 "Who
died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with
him."
1 Thessalonians 5:11
"Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as
also ye do."
Whether we are awake or asleep the saints will live together
with him.
1 Thessalonians 5:1 "But of
the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto
you."
1 Thessalonians 5:2 "For
yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the
night."
The Lord comes as a thief in the night.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 "For
when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon
them, as travail upon a woman
with child; and they shall not escape."
People will say peace and safety, then destruction would come on them.
1 Thessalonians 5:4 "But ye,
brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a
thief."
But, believers should not be surprised.
God is not coming as a thief in the night to the saints.
The sinners will be surprised not the saints.
He is coming to destroy the sinners.
The saints will be left.
2 Peter 3:10 "But the day of
the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the
earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
2 Peter 3:11 "Seeing then
that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be
in all holy conversation and godliness,"
2 Peter 3:12 "Looking for
and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on
fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?"
When the Lord comes he will take the saints and destroy the
wicked.
Matthew 24:36 "But of that
day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father
only."
No one knows the day or the hour
Matthew 24:37 "But as the
days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
This will happen as it were in the days of Noah.
Matthew 24:38 "For as in the
days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and
giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,"
People will be doing their own thing.
Matthew 24:39 "And knew not
until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be."
Who did the flood take away?
So who got taken away?
The wicked got taken away.
Matthew 24:40 "Then shall
two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left."
Matthew 24:41 "Two women
shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other
left."
So the wicked will be taken away, not the saints.
Luke 17:34 "I tell you, in
that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the
other shall be left."
Luke 17:35 "Two women shall
be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left."
Luke 17:36 "Two men shall be
in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left."
Again the wicked were taken.
Where will the wicked go?
Luke 17:37 "And they
answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the
body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together."
Which one are they asking about?
They know where the one that is left is at.
They are still grinding.
They are still in the field.
So where is the one taken to?
Luke 17:37 "And they
answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the
body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together."
Sounds like their going to their destruction.
There will be no second chances.
The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and
gather them up?
Matthew 13:28 "The servants
said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?"
Matthew 13:29 "But he said,
Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Matthew 13:30 "Let both grow
together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the
reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn
them: but gather the wheat into my barn."
What is this harvest?
What are the tares and wheat?
Matthew 13::38 "The field is
the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the
children of the wicked one;"
Matthew 13:39 "The enemy that sowed them is the
devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the
angels."
When Jesus comes again what will happen first?
The rapture of the saints?
or
The wicked are destroyed?
2 Thessalonians 2:8 "And
then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit
of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:"
God's brightness will destroy the wicked when he comes in
the clouds.
Jeremiah 25:33 "And the
slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the
other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor
buried; they shall be dung upon the ground."
The sinners destruction.
Isaiah 24:6 "Therefore hath
the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate:
therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left."
The wages of sin is death.
Matthew 24:42 "Watch
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."
Matthew 24:43 "But know
this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would
come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken
up."
The wicked will not know he is coming.
We need to be ready when he does come.
Matthew 24:44 "Therefore be
ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."
Again, we do not know when he is coming.
Matthew 24:45 "Who then is a
faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to
give them meat in due season?"
Matthew 24:46 "Blessed is
that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. "
Matthew 24:47 "Verily I say
unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods."
Be patient for the Lord to come.
Matthew 24:48 "But and if
that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;"
Matthew 24:49 "And shall
begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;"
Matthew 24:50 "The lord of
that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour
that he is not aware of,"
Matthew 24:51 "And shall cut
him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Do not continue to sin and think you can get saved later.
You do not know when he is coming.
After The Rapture
Jeremiah 4:13 "Behold, he
shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses
are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled."
He is coming in the clouds.
With horses and chariots.
Revelation 19:11 "And I saw
heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called
Faithful and True, and in
righteousness he doth judge and make war."
Who is the rider on the White Horse?
Revelation 19:16 "And he
hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF
LORDS."
Who is that?
This is Jesus.
Revelation 19:19 "And I saw
the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to
make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army."
Against Jesus.
Revelation 19:20 "And the
beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before
him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and
them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone."
The beast is a Kingdom.
The false prophet is the church deceiving the saints.
Both were cast into the lake of fire.
So who is left.
The Dragon or the Devil.
Revelation 19:21 "And the
remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword
proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh."
The rest of them is the ones who were deceived and the
wicked.
They are destroyed.
The Devil is cast into the bottomless pit.
Did the Devil get thrown into a hole that would never end?
The Greek word for "bottomless pit" is the same as
"deep" in Genesis 1:2
Genesis 1:2 "And the earth
was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the
Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."
Nothingness.
The earth will be as it was before creation.
Nothing is going on for 1000 years.
This is the Devils prison.
No one will be here for the Devil to deceive.
Revelation 20:4 "And I saw
thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw
the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word
of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had
received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and
reigned with Christ a thousand years."
Revelation 20:5 "But the
rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This
is the first resurrection."
There were two resurrections.
The saints that did not receive the mark of the beast went
and reigned with Christ 1000 years.
The rest of the dead or the wicked did not live again until
after 1000 years.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 "For
this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are
asleep."
So the dead in Christ are raised first.
The rest of them in Christ are gathered up with them.
The wicked are destroyed.
There is nothing left on the earth and no people to torment.
The Devil is trapped here for 1000 years.
The rest of the dead are raised.
The Devil now has people to torment and is released from his
prison.
John 5:28 "Marvel not at
this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall
hear his voice,"
John 5:29 "And shall come
forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that
have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."
Revelation 20:6 "Blessed and
holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second
death hath no power, but they
shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand
years."
What are we going to be doing for 1000 years?
We are going to be priests of God and reign with him.
Revelation 20:7 "And when
the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,"
Revelation 20:8 "And shall
go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth,
Gog and Magog, to gather them
together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea."
He is released because the wicked are resurrected at the end
of the 1000 years.
Revelation 21:2 "And I John
saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her
husband."
The Devil gather up the people to make war on his beloved
city.
Revelation 20:9 "And they
went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints
about, and the beloved city and fire came down from God out of heaven, and
devoured them."
Revelation 20:10 "And the
devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where
the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for
ever and ever."
The Devil got the wicked to circle his city.
But God sent fire down to devour the wicked.
Then the Devil is cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:11 "And I saw
a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the
heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them."
Revelation 20:12 "And I saw
the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged
out of those things which were written in the books, according to their
works."
The dead are the wicked and are to be judged.
Revelation 20:13 "And the
sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead
which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their
works."
Death and hell delivered up the dead?
Judgment starts.
Revelation 20:14 "And death
and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."
Revelation 20:15 "And
whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of
fire."
This is the second death?
Philippians 2:10 "That at
the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in
earth, and things under the earth;"
Philippians 2:11 "And that every
tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Even the wicked at the time of judgment will bow and confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Is Hell Eternal?
Is our soul immortal?
2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made
manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death,
and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
First Christ abolished death.
That means we were going to die.
Because of that he brought life and immortality.
But only to those that are saved.
Not the wicked.
1 Corinthians 15:54 "So when this corruptible shall have
put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall
be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."
The mortal becomes immortal..
We then have victory over death.
Malachi 4:1 "For, behold,
the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all
that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn
them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it
shall leave them neither root
nor branch."
Malachi 4::3 And ye shall tread
down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in
the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
Matthew 13:40: As therefore the
tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of
this world.
Are the tares still burning?
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin
is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord.
Eternal life or death.
not
Eternal life in heaven or eternal burning in hell.

5:11: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this
life is in his Son.
1 John
5:12: He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath
not life.
Hmm hath not life.
Wonder if that means I’ll have one that will
burn forever.

37:20: But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the

thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy

of all them that behold thee.

thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never
shalt thou be any more.

are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the
soul that sinneth, it shall die.

world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:36: He that believeth on
the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not
see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath
everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from
death unto life.

which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
John 6:51: I am the living bread
which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for
ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the
life of the world.
John 6:52: The Jews therefore
strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of
man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last
day.
John 15:6 If a man abide not in me,
he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast
them into the fire, and they are burned.
Not cast them into the fire that they will burn.

servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
Romans 6:21: What fruit had ye
then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things
is death.

free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness,
and the end everlasting life.
Romans 6:23: For the wages of
sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord.

who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from

be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and
from the glory of his power;

death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

abiding in him.
Revelation 20:14: And death and
hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and
all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second death.
There are so many scriptures that tells us the choice is
life or death.
Only a few lead you
to be burning in hell forever.
The Rich Man and Lazarus .... is it literal?
The beggar died and went to Abraham's bosom?
Are we all going there?
The rich man looked up out of hell and could see Lazarus in
Abraham's bosom.
Are we going to be able to see each other?
Lazarus then is talking to Abraha27: Then he said, I pray
thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
Is there communication between heaven and hell?
here is how the scripture ends....
Luke 16:28: For I have five brethren;
that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Luke 16:29: Abraham saith unto
him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
Luke 16:30: And he said, Nay,
father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
Luke 16:31: And he said unto him,
If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though
one rose from the dead.
Jesus is simply telling them that even if someone came back
from the dead, their minds would not be changed to serve God.
Later Lazarus did come back from the dead.
Did this change their minds?
Shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:7 And when the
thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Satan is released.
Revelation 20:8 And shall go out
to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and
Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of
the sea.
Satan gathers the people to attack Gods holy city.
Revelation 20:9 And they went up
on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and
the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
They surround Gods holy city.
Revelation 20:10 And the devil
that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the
beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever
and ever.
The Devil is thrown into the lake of fire.
This verse does not line up with many other scriptures.
The Greek word used for ever and ever also has other
meanings.
1. for ever, an unbroken age, perpetuity of time, eternity
2. the worlds, universe
3. period of time, age
Here is the Darby translation.
Revelation 20:10 "And the
devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where
[are] both the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and
night for the ages of ages.
This could mean just for a period of time.
Ezekiel 28:17: Thine heart was lifted
up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy
brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that
they may behold thee.
Ezekiel 28:18: Thou hast defiled
thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy
traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall
devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight
of all them that behold thee.
Ezekiel 28:19: All they that know
thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never
shalt thou be any more.
We have already seen after the Devil gathered the people
that he is destroyed.
Ezekiel also shows what happens to him.
Revelation 20:11 And I saw a
great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the
heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Time for Judgment.
Revelation 20:12 And I saw the
dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were
judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their
works.
The sinners are judged.
They are already being considered the dead.
Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave
up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which
were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Again more on the Judgment.
Revelation 20:14 And death and
hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
All the wicked are thrown into the lake of fire.
We die the first time to the grave.
The wicked will be raised in the second resurrection for
final judgment.
Then after the judgment has been cast, everyone will know
what sin brings.
God only has one choice to rid the world forever of sin.
It is called the Second Death.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever
was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
One more..
Their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched?
Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend
thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having
two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Mark 9:44: Where their worm dieth
not, and the fire is not quenched.
Mark 9:45: And if thy foot offend
thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having
two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Mark 9:46: Where their worm dieth
not, and the fire is not quenched.
Mark 9:47: And if thine eye
offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of
God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
Mark 9:48: Where their worm dieth
not, and the fire is not quenched.
This one is quite simple.
Their worm dieth not.
Simply saying that the worm that eats your flesh won't die.
And
Fire is not quenched.
The fire can not be put out.
In other words there is nothing you can do to get away from
destruction.
This is a example to turn away from our wickedness so that
we will not be destroyed.
Their are many verses using the worm.
Here is an example.
Job 24:20 The womb shall forget
him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and
wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
God gave us a choice.
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin
is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Eternal life or death.
It would be hard to belive that God would continually punish
man forever.
God is a loving God.
Serve God out of Love not Fear.
A New Earth:
Revelation 21:1 "And I saw a
new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were
passed away; and there was no more sea."
The earth we know now is passed away. I belive there is nothing left of what we
have now.
Even the oceans are gone.
Isaiah 65:17 "For, behold, I
create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor
come into mind."
But for sure we will have a new earth.
Isaiah 24:20 "The earth
shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and
the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not
rise again."
The earth we know will never rise again.
2 Peter 3:13 "Nevertheless we,
according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein
dwelleth righteousness."
The new earth will be a place of righteousness.
Revelation 21:4 " And God
shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things
are passed away."
There will be no more pain.
Isaiah 35:5 "hen the eyes of
the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped."
Isaiah 35:6 "Then shall the
lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the
wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert."
Any sickness or disease will be no more.
