Daniel 7

Daniel 7:9-10 "I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Lets start with "Ancient of days" and who the Ancient of days is.

.

From 11:40-15:00 gives a good description of the Ancient of Days.

I would also like to point out that God's description here is much different than you see of Jesus.
We are talking about the Anceint one.

God is the Father, Jesus is the son, God is the Ancient one, Jesus is begotten, the firstborn of every creature.
Meaning I believe the Father (Divine in Nature) came first, and begets a Son (Divine in Nature).
But God held all power first, and later gives this to his Son.

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Hebrews 1:1-3)

Now lets compare this scene to Revelation 4 and 5.

What is this scene about?

This description (ending the sitting at 7:15) explains it a bit.

In the typical service only those who had come before God with confession and repentance, and whose sins, through the blood of the sin offering, were transferred to the sanctuary, had a part in the service of the Day of Atonement. So in the great day of final atonement and investigative judgment the only cases considered are those of the professed people of God.
The judgment of the wicked is a distinct and separate work, and takes place at a later period. "Judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel?" 1 Peter 4:17. {CIHS 173.1}

Daniel 7:22 "Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High;"

This judgment is for the Saints!

This is the time our names are read off in the Book Of Life!

We will live forever with Jesus in his Kingdom!

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.(Revelation 11:1)
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (Revelation 3:5)
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: (Revelation 11:2)

Daniel 7:26 "But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end."

After the work is completed, and the books have been examined so that all heaven knows that God is fair and just.
Satan, The Beast and kingdoms of this world will lose their dominion.
And we will live in a new Kingdom that with Jesus as King who will reign forever and ever.
